Jayce talks about how and why casual users may not “get” Android or understand its potential. Can this be changed?

Apple android and samsung are all crap. LG is where its at
Android is for tech focused people ios is for people that have the money and don't understand how good and Android can be
Reasons to move to IOS: Hardware
They simply look better than androids. I understand it's up to personal taste (and android is a much better OS) but even with my gorgeous Samsung s7 Edge i cant help but to still marvel at iphones beauty
It is truly sad. The average user that doesn't know a thing about Android will pay double or even triple the price for an iPhone do get the same or slower performance. I work at a small tech store and I get countless people that walk in and ask for an iPhone charger. I always ask if they need just the lightning cable or the cable and AC Adapter because they are sold separate. Nine out of ten will say "Whats a lightning cable" These people just follow the crowd and get what ever their friends and family have or just want to blend in. No one does any research before making big purchases.
Kill me or ios ?
Kill me
Am i only person who loves touchwizz
Samsunh new touchwiz is quite good
So true……. about the light and pro versions of android ..there should be two versions..google please make this happen.. the true power of android comes after rooting it..and i love custom roms..and the tweaks you can make on android.. 🙂
The most compelling reason to be on any platform (or app) is unhindered cross platform capabilities. I should be able to start a task on my mobile, pick it up a on a work desktop later, move to a personal laptop, and later complete it on a tablet. If a platform or app cannot do that I will likely avoid it.
iOS user, but I get Android. I am considering a Google Pixel 2 XL. I have had an S8+.
if I could do everything I can do on my android on iPhone, but better id move..
I'm watching this in 2017, now that Android 7.1 is out, Nostalgia anyone?
I wonder if the AA Team still responds on their older videos.ðŸ¤â€Â
Why did VHS win over Sony Beta? "Price and recording length". Why is Android winning over iphone? "Price and choices of different phone features". If you are super tough on your phones and have to replace them every 6 months or so then Android makes a lot of sense since you can buy one for $50 and up.
Google sucks😠😠😠😠ðŸ˜ÂÂ
I would've jumped from Android to IOS… If everything else failed.
i agree fully with what this video is about. but, I am a poweruser, i use my phone like most use their computer so I would never be satisfied with an iphone.
welp im unistall any launxher and only use assistive touch… yep im a freak!!x xD
Some may call it crapware, but I call it competition that helps the OS evolve. Android 7.0 may not have the multi-window feature if the Samsung note series hadn't introduced it years ago. TouchWiz, Sense, etc,. may be clunky at times, but I'm all for new ideas. Let Google observe and build upon and improve those new ideas.
I'm currently usimg iOS, and it is very hard to think about something that would make me switch to android, it may be because of the jailbreak xD
But what can't you do on a jailbroken iPhone?
The main point is there's different kinds of users out there. People forget that other people might not want their phone to be some super device. They just want a texting-social media device.
freedom
I would want to switch to blackberry to have a phone nobody has.
I don't care about operating systems i care about the hard wear the camera the suns and screen and wish won is easy for me to youse it.
So this guy is saying make a version of android for stupid people?
My smartphone came with apps i never use and can not uninstall like Facebook. And of course i never update them. All i do is call / text, watch youtube and cruise the internet with my smartphone. And reply to youtube comments. 🙂
Android it's not that deep unless u want to go that deep. if u want to find out all ur Android can do such as emulators(my fav) custom Roms and skins…then you're taking the red pill. if u want ur phone to do just the basics you're taking the blue pill and don't want to go that deep. and whatever u pick it's ur preference. Android just give u the options but ppl nowadays need their hand held.

I moved from iOS to Android years ago,. after realizing how much money I spent on apps and of course being able to do what I want to on Android.
I think the only reason I'd go back to ios is for imessage other than that I'll stick to my android phone
android lite? what a load of crap. This video makes it seem like android phones are so poor at phone calls and texting, they might not be better but they aren't worse than any other phone out there. if you are gonna spend so much money like iOS users do on a smartphone and proceed to use it just for calls, text and some gaming you are better off buying a feature phone.
Apps. I would move back to Windows phone if the windows store was as big as the play store
"Cuz you're a freak. You watch YouTube videos on mobile operating systems" BOOOIIIII. The accuracy.
For the sheeple, there's Apple. No need to customize anything, Apple's already ahead of you. The thing Apple users don't get is that you can make Android os look and feel like an iPhone it's that customizable. For iSheep folk, you have to jailbreak your phone just to have options is Android users have had all along. Other features include: drag and drop interface for every Android I've ever had. You can also move files within your own file explorer program, built in. No intrusive iTunes crap program checking permissions first. I can use my computer or phone, move files to my micro sd card and pop the card into any card reader or other Android device and everything is accessible! Can't do that with iVebeenpwned… Let's talk video formats.. Android's player natively plays almost every video type available. iMpwneds play only a few. Yes, there are converters available. For the sheep. I don't need one. For music, the same thing applies. What about adapters? My oldest adapter for my oldest Android phone works with my newest Android phone. Every time I upgrade I get a another power adapter. I don't have to buy special power cords and the cords I buy work for every Android phone. iPonymoney… well have fun buying new crap every time. Apple laughs at your moronicness. So do Android users. Apple brags that it better monetizes its users. In other words, they brag about taking your money for apps that have free versions on Android. What about the YouTube videos? Does Apple still insist on proprietary encoding for its YouTube app, thus removing a great amount of content from Apple users? Android just plays all videos. Simple as that. What about the fact that Apple users claim their screens react faster to touch input… yet they are way behind in Swype keyboards. Yes, all speed texting records belong to Androids with Swype keyboards. Tap tap tap tap tap tap… tards…
Well there's quite a bit more but that's all for now. That'll keep the iSpenttoomuch people running for their safe zones, triggered by my meanie speech! Hahaha
people really don't need to be educated to love a platform, it's what the platforms do to convince people to use their platforms, like you just said and the main point i think google does not put to much consideration is the most basic functionalities of a mobile device (those 5). bottom line the user has a choice, what do you make them choose better than the others in the competition.
Back to BlackBerry, probably not but I'd try iOS IF I got an AMAZING deal. And I do mean AMAZING.
watching this 2 years later when google became a MVNO and ditched the Nexus for a more streamlined device the pixel(which I have)
The only way I'd use iOS is if for some reason Google decided to end andriod and not continue with any other OS for smartphones… since that won't happen, there is no possibility of me going iOS.
how come I feel like you're telling me a secret. shhhhh
I love android but I love jailbroken iOS more.
Having 2 versions of android would mean you'll have to pay more if you wanted to be an enthusiast and that would suck,so I'm even happier without that idea, good thing to not see,at least they cannot lock us in that way.
I ask my friend why do you still use Samsung he was like
'am too lazy'
I ask him why don't he root / install customization options
he is like I am too lazy
WTF is wrong with my friend….
I don't know how much phones cost in the US, but in my country the iPhone is almost twice as much as the most expensive Samsung…so why give more money to be able to do less stuff? Its not worth it.
Using LineageOS on my Galaxy S3 and I can't be happier.
If the people who don't "get" android only their smartphones for texting and calling and some other tasks, then what is the point in wasting money on a SMARTphone in the first place?
Me using A Samsung Galaxy tab 3 7.0
my friend using an iPad mini 3
friend says your tablet is so laggy
me well heck yeah I have a 100-150 dollar low end tab and you have a freaking high end iPad!
I move from iOS to Android to get rid of big data companies tracking me. So yeah I am going to flash my brand new 3T with an OpenSource version of Android and no I am not going to install any gApp at all.
That the kind of thing you can do with Android you can't with iOS.
Getting your first Android? What would you have before?
