In this episode Chris installs a new Sparco steering wheel on the 68 Camaro. To make that possible we first go over how to install a hub adapter to adapt from the old 3 lug grant bolt pattern to the newer 6 bolt pattern on modern racing steering wheels.

  1. Lol, it's crazy to think that 4 yrs after this video was posted you'd be working on a Lamborghini for Sema.. Good work brother…

  2. Hey bro please I can't find that adaptor I even bought the same steering wheel but I went everywhere today couldn't find it & online I can't find the same one can you please send me the link of where you got it I would appreciate it.

  3. Make sure your steering wheel is straight before you pull the old one off otherwise you won't know if the new one is going on striaght

  4. damn bro… you are ruining this camaro. I can't watch this series anymore. love all your other builds but you are going in a very poor direction with this car. sparco steering wheels and mesh wheels don't belong on pony cars… it's just not right

  5. Silly question, but why didn't you just get a Sparco adaptor to go straight onto the '68 Camaro column, and remove the Grant adaptor all together?

  6. I have to stop you at your point about someone breaking in and stealing your sweet wheel. I see where your coming from but if someone really wanted to take it, it would only be slightly harder to just take the bolts off holding it on anyways. I use to worry about that but I mean if someone wants it, they will take it. I knew a guy that had his wheel with him and his car got stolen. The guy who stole the car matched up the quick release with his own and took the car anyways. If you want that wheel to be safe just let your insurance know its price and they will cover it. Your premium will go up but that's the only sure fire way it will be ok. Anyways love your videos, keep it up.

  7. Kind of late, but for the ground, that little metal triangular shaped thing on the edge of the Sparco horn button creates a ground when it comes in contact with the grant adapter, you just have the wire the positive from the horn.

  8. complains old people dont know how to take a video, spent most of his lowering spindle vid filming the back of his head. also you should have covered your glass when you painted cause in the end i could see black overspray on all your windows

  9. Diggin the work+channel. One question that keeps glaring in my mind, how do you have time? Seems you are making a ton of progress are you doing that while working?

  10. lol right when u were describing how to wire it up i already thought of a soln (before finishing ur vid)

i would have just wired that loose wire to one terminal and ground to the other, detach the spring and use and insulator or a paper to separate the sparco from the factory steering
