This video documents my trip back to where I got my automotive education, Rosedale Technical Institute in Pittsburgh PA. I have to say that it was probably the most life changing thing that I ever did because since I left that school after getting my automotive education my life has improved dramatically. As I said in the video I’m not saying that you have to go to Rosedale to get your automotive education but if you’re serious about getting into the automotive field I strongly suggest you find a school that’s right for you and get an education in the automotive arts before you get a job in the automotive field, without it I feel you won’t do as well and won’t be as effective as a technician.

You meet him for the first time, and you grab his tit. That's the start of all great friendships.
That's a great video!
Were I work if a safety inspector would saw you wearing your hard hat like that you would of been terminated on the spot. Lol
Rosedale should have this video in their digital brochure if they don't already. Perfect professionalism in all aspects.
Yes a very nice tribute, and almost sounded like a politician. I think you should run for mayor LOL! good Job..
nice tribute
Wow… ive been considering going to rosedale tech for awhile now. And ive been almost studying your vidoes for quite awhile. Knowing you went here just makes it that much better. Just wondering. Do you still live in the pittsburgh area?
looks like great school eric. you were very fortunate to be able to attend such an awesome institution. I am an upcoming technician as well and im also very fortunate to be able to attend the auto tech courses here in cali at a fine community college just down the street from me 🙂
I am learning so much thank you ! Just cant stop watching
I keep up on all the new videos and old. Your self and Paul Danner's, every new one and old one, I learn so much from you both. I too wish that I was closer to your school, of true success. Thank you for your great videos cause it almost feels like I'm at your school,
im in rosedale now. awesome school
eric, was job placement helpful at rosedale when u graduated? just wondering.
dang I wish there was a school like that where I live.
Eric I just thought you should know that after seeing this video I contacted them and am very interested for my tour there maybe ill go to school there. I really hope so!,
Porsche 928 engine?
sounds like a great place not unlike montgomery collage in mont. co. md where I went
Eric I'm thinking about a trade school like wyotech or rosedale I live maybe an hour drive from Pittsburgh I had someone from rosedale come to my school to talk to us at first I was iffy and then I saw this vid and now I'm thinking of rosedale tech more because you went there and I see how much you know and some of it that you have taught me and may I ask where are you now?
ETCG…you're an awesome dude. Keep up the good work.
Nice to see Eric visit his alma mater 🙂
It's hard to find such caring and compassionate teachers nowadays and this goes for both automotive and non-automotive schools.
i have a question, i am thinking about going to this school, are the teachers here good, and know what they are talking about, and how much is it to go here ? thank you
I am very please that you made the effort to visit your school as an Alumni, it always makes your mentors happy you succeeded from the training you learned there… The school I went to was divided between academic and technical divisions… I don;t want to upset anyone but people have the mentality that technical careers don't matter in today's society. [Morons] For some of us, 'Getting Dirty' is what makes us happy =) Thanks for making this video, it is very touching!
do you have a shop near pittsburgh?
pittsburgh<3
Wow I was shocked to see you coming out of the Ft Pitt Tunnels and seeing the City. I didn't know you got your education here. Awesome )
i want to go in a school like this x_x
i wish i was smart enought to go there lol!
UR WALLER IS DRY!?!?! THAT IS NOT GOOD! GO SEE A DOCTOR!!! QUICK!!!!!
THAT MEANS YOUR Duodenum IS ABOUT TO BLOW!!!!
I'm from pittsburgh and I think this is cool…i used some of ur videos for my HONDA accord cp vtec
Seeing this makes me so happy, places like this are so important. It's awesome to see people learning skilled trades that are becoming a lost art, and keeping these careers alive. We need more good people in trades.
damn this school is banging, the one we have here in florida sucks, sucks in teaching and sucks ur waller dry, and no jobs!
shut the fuck up. You really think hes going to change his hair because of what one person thinks get a fucking life
there is already if you search for it.
Great video. It's nice to go back to where it all started and to give credit to those that influenced your life! Good job!
Was that Camaro closer to the beginning the same Camaro in the picture you showed of the old school?
Hey, any chance you have a video on chasing down a battery drain? Something is slowly draining my battery, cant figure out what. Thanks in advance.
Ponytail > you
I believe he has the option to do with it what he wants, it is HIS own hair
wow a crossover episode from youtube, how cool!!!!
I was accepted into Rosedale several months back and I can't wait to start in August. It seems to be a real nice school and several people whom I met a Nissan dealership in my area for a job shadow, were also Rosedale graduates. That might make it easier for me to get a job their after I graduate.
My area has an awesome 2 year automotive technology program thats through the local college here. This brought back memories of good times lol… My instructors were like automotive Gods to me they were great people and were rediculously knowledgeable. I loved it. Although i do not work in the trade the skills that i have learned have been a great help to me my family and friends.
human potential is limitless
