In part 3 I cover the under car inspection and to be honest you may not be able to do this part on your own however I feel that even if you aren’t able to do an under car inspection you can still learn a great deal during a test drive which will be covered in the next video. I would like to once again stress that it would be more than a worthy investment to take the vehicle that you’re considering buying to a professional that specializes in the vehicle that you’re looking to buy as this would be your best insurance against any issues you might find yourself stuck with after the sale.

Btw, what about imports? People who import cars have no idea how the car is like except for the images shared by the exporters and the spec sheet. Any tips on that?
I wonder if you have anything wrong in your car ???? Lol
Horns a little gay lmao
It's a Subaru, so the radio is on NPR.
the rear defrost light actually did come on.. or a light did at least
Summary (save 20 minutes)- Most important note smells indicating flood or damage. Press every button to see it work. Note anything different from new that reduces the value of car. An additional note omitted by Eric. Turn the AC on while engine is at idle to see if warm engine stalls.
you pose to put the hood down for it to work
hi Eric, do you recommend Subaru?
sometimes you have to lock the doors for the door light to turn off.
subaru enthusiasts call that parking light switch atop the steering column the "virgin switch" due to first time owners not knowing that that switch allows the parking lights to remain on even when the key is off, leading those first-time owners to wonder why their parking lights won't turn off. or worse, why their battery is dead!
i think one of the biggest things he hasnt mentioned so far is to bring a flashlight even if you are looking at the vehicle in the day time. it will hlp you find things easier. You can tell if the paint is original or not. It is just very handy
what if we found drugs in the glovebox
I cringe a bit at you wearing the gloves in the car, I dunno, I like keeping my stuff clean, especially the interior of a car
I have poop coming out of my tailpipe
here's low .. and high 06:42
Thanks Eric. I'll surely play this through buying a used car every time now. I hope the buyers don't get too nervous about my mechanic telling me what to look for… lmao maybe a live iphone bluff?
My Accord's power antenna broke but luckily it broke in the up position.
And about that parking light switch. Don't clean your car and forget that you accidentally hit that switch because you will drain your battery and there's no warning!
You forgot to use the key in all the doors! I got a car one time without testing the locks manually with the keys, 2 months later when i go to use the passenger side lock with my key the whole damn assembly fell out the door!
haha the guy on the radio was complaining about people watching YouTube XD and here we are hearing his message over YouTube 😛 very ironic i think.
I wish i can take u to buy car for me lol. Thanks alot for useful information.
I love the fact that the headlights don't work unless you have the key in/on.. This means you can't get a flat battery by forgetting to turn off your lights when you park up..
Why does turning on the defrost turn on the a/c to?
man, these videos are diamond. Please, make more of these. May be with a truck?
