How to Break In A New or Rebuilt Engine. This video will explain how to break in a new car engine. It is important to break in a new engine so you get a good piston ring seal and good wear on engine parts when it is first breaking in. This method applies to most cars but there are always exceptions so read your owners manual.

7 year old ChrisFix sounds depressed
I didn't know now what?
Just clip a hinch in the engine like the one in th VW golf meme engine being pulled out
Honestly this is another reason why I don’t like to buy used cars. A lot of people don’t know theres a such thing as a break in or they know they aren’t keeping them and don’t bother.
Thanks ðŸ’ÂÂ
Hi,I Have a Hyundai Sonata 2001 2.0 2000cc Engine (G4JP) ,Engne Was burning oil, Got a Overhaul done and replaced cylinder sleeves and piston rings(Piston were in good condition),Should i do a engine break in..?
And 7 years later he super cleaned that same car haha
aspiring thief 15 seconds into this video : dammit
Imagine MrBeast knew about this. He would do this: Getting New cars and breaking them in and giving them away.
This is almost impossible when you use the highway to commute everyday lol
Don’t forget to drive your car after wards 😉. It’ll break more if you don’t constantly drive it
THIS is why you NEVER buy a car with ANY miles on it (over 20)… others "test" drove it… and did NOT respect it. You know that. When you pay for NEW… get NEW – not a car driven by test drivers who want to see what "this thing can do"…..
Hey Chris!
My engine locked up and I replaced some parts to get the engine fixed basically overall engine fix, do i have to break it in as well ?
Will stalling cause damage to a brand new engine during the break in phase?
Here I am 6 years later wow
I’m saving up for a 2020 Dodge Charger scat pack and I’m already like nervous about the break in period because I know them I’m gonna want to step on it😂 so for that reason I’m gonna let my dad drive it for me until it’s broken in and ima use his car

My dad is giving me a green 2011 Ford Fiesta for my first car and it looks ugly because it was sitting for a long time and I don’t want that car for my first car
The only thing i knew is dont rev it hard under 40k km
Can I do a drag race in a brand new car
what if you commute on the highway because you work super super far? You can't vary your speed on the highway
When I start a older vehcle I let the engine get awake then I start I wait 15 seconds. Then do a small rev to 3000 rpm
That's that good ol Focus chime. I bought mine with 11 miles on it. I'm pretty sure I broke the engine in back in 09.
I thought u said how to break in a new car lol
I thought that this video was about stealing cars
I just had a ls rebuilt and I noticed when I went to pick it up it was smoking on start up is that normal?
Well you won't have a long lasting engine with an American ford!
Does this include for electric cars??
