6. What the media is not telling us is that Daunte Wright had and outstanding warrant for aggravated assault and this was found out when he was pulled over for expired tags. If he had just remained in custody, remained silent and not tried to escape things might have been different. This not justifying his death but merely stating there were other mitigating factors involved and the police need to make split second decisions.
