I feel this is one of the more difficult cabin air filter replacements mainly because of the ‘little’ things you need to do to access them. My ‘special tools’ help a great deal and to be honest I’ve found them to be the best way to handle some parts of this procedure. As I say in the video replacement period is about every 30K. Thanks for watching.

Eric, love your videos and the work you do, but it seems like you are rushing the work and in a sloppy manner. For example, you are working with a dashboard, on a clean car, and you have ripped gloves with greasy fingers. Another example, you just yank things out and don't take the time to really be cautious and careful with things. To most customers, I am sure they would not appreciate that. Again, just providing some constructive feedback, no knock on you at all! Keep it coming with the videos, but just wanted to give my 2 cents!
"oh you need to replace your air filter? just do it yourself! it's so easy!
> has an 01 Acura RL
Dear Eric,
I want to first off thank you for all your helpful videos and I am so glad to have this resource online free and accesable.
Secondly, I have an 04' RL 3.5 very similar to the one in this video. I recently changed the CAF with the help of this vid. Thank you again. I will continue to use your videos as reference with my Acura. Truly great work you do sir.
Sincerely,
Victor
If you hear something that sounds like a foghorn when you start up your RL it's your cabin filter.
2002 rl = worked perfect! Thank you man!
Hi Eric…could you tell me a part number of the plastic filter holders?
In my 97 swiss model i do not have them…but there is the space for it.
Thanks
What’s a good way to remove the glove box without your “special tool
THANKS!!
Out of curiosity, do you know if the 2001 GSR have this filter? I don’t have the Helms manual handy right now. TIA!
Great video, Eric! Changing the cabin filter on my '97 RL was not intuitive for me and your video made it possible. Much appreciated!!!
Eric, can you show how to replace that steering wheel tilt motor , or gears in the tilt motor?
Using dirty gloves on the interior.
I just bought a '90 Acura Integra DA. Does it have a cabin filter?
Hey,
Do you know where I can get the mount frame thing? Mine is cracked.
Thanks much for the video.  The turn on "re-cycle" air step is crucial for this replacement!!!!
Everyone please take time to watch the commercials so Eric can afford a new pair of gloves.
Just got 4 filters in the mail today and installed two halfway through the video. The strange part is I have been watching ETCG's video's in order for the past few weeks and it just so happened that the day I received them is when I got to this video haha
I need a video like this for a 1996 Nissan Sentra, can't find that video anywhere.
i work for acura, just did one of these today for the first time and i wanted to kill myself
and you wonder why they dont get changed i would be ashamed to be the engineer that designs these things a cabin air filter should be no more than a five minute job
Most difficult cabin filter change i've seen
Eric how about not having a filter?I just found out that I been drivin for years ithout one,lol
In my tacoma the glove box pops out with no screws and the filter is directly behind it and slides out.. why i love toyota
fuck yeah haha
do all cars have a cabin air filter?
3:57 Scary !
reminds me of how much of a pain in the ass it is to change the Heating element thingy or whatver in a old Volvo 240 and 740, anyhows its like they built the car around that stupid thing that has a tendency to leak wich creates almost like a thin fog film on the windscreen due to evaporated anti freeze. and changin it on a VW Passat is just as much as a pain……
