If I can get Note4 or S6 i will definetly buy a gear vr.ÂÂÂ
I like the idea of using android for VR. (and these gear vr headsets are stable)
good one.
On the LG G4 you can take selfys with a hand jester. Also there's a lot of talk about android M sinking android devices together. What I would like to see is VR gaming that would take more than one android device to play. By using body language recognition on a camera to recognize something like, stand up fighting. I understand for android that should be possible, in the near future. However something what should be happening sooner is an external app, that could make any game like brothers in arms VR compatible. As it would make an incredible gameplay experience with a Bluetooth control.
Augmented reality just looks so much better in my opinion
I like ur videos very much! Keep up the good work
VR is amazing!! i have only had 3-D movie experience like 2 times with the spy kids movie and… forgot the other movie and would love to try any of these VR's but the untethered one's for sure cause freedom to move with the generated world is very indepth and awesome!!!
and sucks i did not get to try the virtual boy by nintendo… i for surely bet the nintendo world in time square has it but bet only for show… but bet ebay has plenty of em maybe… but em prices are for sure crazy!
Well it's no surprise that on the survey "which state do you want to kick out of USA the most?", Texas came first.
@Gary Sims you sound like the David Attenborough of technology. Very pleasant and relaxing to listen to. Keep up the great informative vids!
I just hope that this doesnt end up like "move" from Sony !
Given the fact that the rift recommends a GTX 970 or R9 290, I doubt phone VR will gain traction anytime soon as it won't be able to achieve presence.
People start suing each other the second Apple gets in the game.
Good Job Gary Sims, Keep it up
Another good video mate ! Great job
Yeee, i have the same shirt!!! Lidl <3
At the end of the video, you discussed the negative impact that may come with the usage of VR such as motion sickness from eye movement and brain interpretation of what is being viewed. I think it's worth mentioning that there is a company called Fove which is working on eye-tracking VR to possibly improve VR experience and may very well overcome the problem.
But otherwise, great video! Sums up the development of VR and AR overall pretty well 🙂
Great video Gary 🙂
VR is awesome, been using works Samsung Gear VR – Note 4 for a couple days and love it, well I like the oculus rift app, normal Android vr apps with cardboard are a little behind in comparison
Sony has an awesome name. Project Morphius.
This… was rather informative. Though I wish you included HTC's Vive. People who had the chance to play around with it (including your very own Josh) think it was rather revolutionary in the VR space.
very nice video…..the flow of explanation was really good…!!!!
Surprised that there is not even a mention about HTC Vive.
A little more audio (+30%) would be nice
carboard or cardboard.
i keep hearing him say carboard
Sword art online haha
You forgot to mention HTC vive haha
How much do you think they will be priced?
:p
Eboda Avatar 50Euro
I can imagine a ESRB like rating system for motion sickness. Labels stating a likely hood of motion sickness from the game/application. Potentially not a bad idea in all honesty.
Awesomesauce
Yay
