  1. He doesn't show you in this vid but by long-pressing the pads it opens a volume control that allows you to ramp up the volume during playback. This particular 'scene' as Mikrosonic refers to them, isn't that great if you just play it as-is. Once you start doing fade-ins using the volume controls and adding fx in real time (another option available by long pressing the pads), this scene can give you some pretty solid beats.

  2. Caustic and SPC are different types of applications serving different purposes. Caustic is used to produce entire songs, create instruments, and make loops. SPC, on the other hand, is for throwing together a song live using samples and loops. In fact, you can import from caustic into SPC. Both are excellent tools 🙂

  3. As much as I love Android on my phone, this is the whole reason I bought an iPad for my music creations. This app doesn't really do a lot. Thanks for the video tho.

  4. @zhbvenkhoReload Yeah please change that song. I know one of you probably made it from a loop CD and feel proud, but please change the tired old loop. 😉

  5. I also produce music and would love a REAL music app for android. Does Android ICS continue to have latency issues like the previous versions? Every music app I see for Android is trigger based like SPC and not real time. One app I would love is NanoStudio, but its only for iOS 🙁
