I don't what the laws are in your state when it comes to Black powder revolvers but if you can legally own one buy a few revolvers and keep them loaded in case u have to react to some who has a weapon or gun. A lot of ppl are gonna say black powder are a waste of time but it worked in my situation were I had to actually use a black powder revolver. Or even a good crossbow will do it's better then just your hands especially if he is armed.
