20. A girl named Laura I knew ..
    She was the first person I met when I moved to W. A, she was always really nice when all the other girls would humiliate me. She got into an auto accident, and got addicted to pain pills, then Herion, I never gave her the time of day, & only saw/talked to her for drugs, well she died recently of an OD. It REALLY bothers me I wasn't a better friend to her. She was always Soo sweet to me for some reason.. & I never recognized how beautiful of a person she was, dispite her addiction until after her death. Deep down, she saw something in me, & at the time…my own family didn't even want anything to do with my dumbass. I miss her. That's my regret, kinda like the epileptic woman Joe knew.

I also went to Supreme Court fighting the Laundenburg act 2 times. everyone knew me when I walked into that Federal prison. a new guy and they already new my shit as I was walking in! I had no problems other then my own Car did not take care of me. the brothers and Kings did.

But soon as they started goin in on scales I'd have heard "That's pig talk!" in my head and told them to kick rocks, no doubt. That girl was too wild for that. All it would have taken is one of em to panic and decide to leave no witnesses and y'all would've been done. Scary thought.

    Lmao they called me to testify against somebody I didn't even know (they stole a check of mine from a job I had for all of a month) so I called up and after a lotta phone tag finally spoke w the prosecutor and told em I had nothin to say when she informed me that if I didn't show I'd be in contempt. Since I was already on felony supervised probation I didn't think a VOP was better than bein able to say "I don't know anything about this" if called to the stand so I got to sit around the courthouse for a day and a half for a grand total of just south of $13 and I never even got called up! It was so stupid.

    You spoke a mouthful when ya touched on regret. I think that's what crushes a lot of people. I know it does me. Some days are harder than others. But that shit never stops no matter how much ya try to forgive yourself. Some shit is mad hard to forgive.

30. Yep, definitely been there brother.. funny thing is I pretty much had my own version of every ‘damsel’ you dealt with. I guess it goes to show whether you’re in the ol’ colony of commonwealth of Virginia or in the great urban sprawl of Chicago, the life and times of that sort of life will manifest and attract the same broken souls, wherever your life is playing out.
