13. i always find it hilarious when people assume a backfiring car is a gunshot because there are distinct differences, mainly the car will usually be louder and accompanied by a rad revving sound and maybe some tire squeals that will produce a bit of a hum surrounding the pops, if you just hear a few quiet pops with no accompanying sounds, that's when you start worrying.
