The content is good, but the audio has a bit of an echo, and the voice is slightly muffled. It becomes more noticeable when playing at double speed. The effect is users have to concentrate more to parse everything.
Of course I am referring to this video, not the cubox.
Ive been using external HDDs with Android since Honeycomb. I can't really understand why you couldn't get your HDD working. Sounds odd. And 2GB of RAM should be more than enough to run Android.
Got mine for $65 bucks second hand. Looks like fun.
pass, this sound like a complete mess
Is there a box out there that has support… can do both RCA (audio / vidoe) and Hevc (H.265)? I've yet to find a media box that has all three things.
Um you can make this for $35 using a raspberry pi…. exactly the same
Thanks Gary. Good review.
i find it funny that he says you can't replace your desktop with it.. i've used considerably lower powered computers as a desktop such as a 75mhz 8mb ram 800mb hdd computer for years in the 90s…before that was an IBM workstation that only had DOS.. before that there were even lower specced systems…the raspberry pi 2 i have used as an experiment as a desktop pc and it only has 1gb of ram. the only issue i came across as bothersome was web browsing but that did not make it at all unusable. anyway, having a difficult time using this as a desktop computer would definitely be a 1st world problem. people seem to forget just how fast the industry has grown and advanced. the software hasn't really kept up the same pace.. it is all doing the same stuff it has always done its just prettier and faster. use a less fancy desktop environment and don't try to run everything all at once and it will be fine as a desktop computer.
rip raspberry pi?
It's weird that Android on here doesn't recognize external drives considering that it IS a feature in Android. USB-OTG support has been around since at least Jellybean, probably longer.
for that price id rather pick up one of those Windows PCs on a stick.
Wonderful review. This is the first review of yours I've seen. Super job. Looking forward to more from you. Cheers!
kodi + Chromecast screen cast > this shit
You didn't really show it from the front..
can you download showbox on it does it have a browset?
running kodi on my raspberry pi 2 since it came out last winter and it has been working really nicely. I dont see the point of putting more money then that if this is the use your going to do with it
Is it pronounced "cody" or "co-die"?
i like this guy too
I think the Chromecast proved that the best OS for a TV is no OS at all.
Nice video review, but get your self a better microphone, to much echo.
chromestick is better. its only 35$
I could imagine people losing this thing. Just imagine looking everywhere for where you put the fuckin set top box! "Honey! Did you see where I put the set top box?" "Did you check the pants you wore yesterday?" "Yes it wasn't there!"
love the sarcasm at the beginning where he pretends to be confused at whether one is a newer version and the other is older.

Go Norway!😃

Next thing we see is a computer hardware fit into a mouse connected to a monitor and a keyboard wirelessly.
its small but a little pricey
It would be great to have the CuboxTV on Amazon stores
