  1. Hell I felt worse for your employer. You were a spoiled kid with now financial obligations so who cares if they lose their jobs? It’s when you have a family that relies on You to keep them safe is when this game changes!

  3. I’m watching this in December 2020. Been watching you guys for a while now and can this is one of my favourite YouTube channels. Keep doing the wacky builds cause you are doing something right! Good luck from the future. Cheers.

  4. Living in Beaverton Or. through the 70's to late 2000's my brother went through this a LOT! Sailing helped, couple of startups later, 3 kids, divorce, still in contact with everyone he encountered along the way now all older & dealing with life. Work buddies last a LONG time, 40+ years. Love your channel.

  5. I am late on the scene and came to the channel via the B is for Boat videos… I applaud what you are doing and watching this video was uplifting as I can see what you did with the unfortunate loss of “career” and income. Seems important to emphasize, you do mention it, that you were wise to live “within your means” early on and so the disruption with income was a bump on the road and not a fall off a cliff. I look forward to more great videos. I also really enjoyed how you handled the Behind the Build video on the power decisions for the boat. Wishing you much more success.

  6. Good luck with your channel! I have started making a few fishing videos on my own channel and know the time that goes into even a simple video. I have much respect for what you have accomplished here on YouTube. Sometimes one door closes so another can open. Best of luck!

  7. I absolutely love the fact that the guy in this video had no idea that he would own not just one, but two Lamborghini Huracans. Dreams that you don’t know will happen are the best dreams.

  8. Harsh world, I worked at and for eBay for close to 20 years, my team got outsourced in 2008 and turned us into contractors. I stayed on in hopes it would turn around and I was still getting payed well. 11 years later I was too expensive to keep around basically. laid off a bunch of us old schoolers only to bring in a bunch of newbs a few months later for like half the cost. Shit happens!. It is the nature of the beast and sucks but it is what it is.

  9. Watching this in July of 2019… Glad you made it go on BifBuild. Great content and your humble, authentic attitude is what makes your channel unique and great to watch. Very happy for your success! Here's to your next 1M subscribers! 👍💯
