In this episode I’ll go over every active build and talk about where it sits, what’s left to be done on it, and what i’m doing to get it finished up.

  1. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?!?!?! Why won't you take the Mustang to a tuner? You said you would back in episode 20 or so. I don't now why this is so hard to understand. A tuner needs to have the car there in their hands to be able to get it tuned properly, ESPECIALLY when there are some unknown issues like with your car. You're ASSUMING that the problem is tune related. It may be hardware related, in which case, your "email tuner" may not be able to diagnose it.

I'm done with this shit and this channel. All that time and money spent fixing a car on a cool build just to now get gun shy and let it continue to rot outside. Suck up your pride and take it to a tuner, FFS!!! Actually, just let it rot. I'm done anyway. If you're just going to let it rot, why don't you give it to a loving home? I'll be GLAD to come take it off your hands and fix it and drive it.

  2. The CD009 was the last version of those Nissan trans, but the previous versions before 2006, only had synchro problems, which is bad yes, but when remedied this trans is just as bulletproof as any other transmission

  3. bring the belt to a auto parts store our oriylies stocks all sorts and has them organized by size so if you know it's 123mm you can ask for that and having an auto tensioner makes the process very easy doesn't need to be exact size

  4. manual transmission is really good idea, you already had the manual transmission with the BRZ and turned out not appreciating it as much as you thought. manual for life!

  5. when it comes to putting the G35 trans in the brz contact me and I can tell you what all is needed as im one of the few who have a 2jz cd009 FRS/brz and would love to help a fellow enthusiast!

  6. i want a B is for Broke keytag. also is there anywhere i can see ALL the cars he has? like wheelwell or something

  7. sounds like so much work to be done but I'm excited to see everything be worked on. I say you should spend a whole day just working on minor things for several cars like the wheels and tyres for the s2000 and brz and fixing the front bumper for the Evora. also even if it's off schedule you should just do the tunning stuff for the mustang even if the video is short and testing a new tune. doesn't have to uploaded on your usual days but it's nice to watch the update here and there for that.

  8. Please do the individual throttle bodies on the s2000, that would be something new on the channel and some new knowledge 🙂

  9. sometimes I forget that this channel only has 200k subs. Chris definitely deserves way more just on his quality alone.

  10. I say there is something mechanical going on with the mustang. The o-rings on the fuel injectors being crap and leaking fuel/air? Dirty Idle Air Controller? MAF not reading correctly? Did some research and the stock and aftermarket intake tubes have the MAF on the backside of the tube (the plug is pointed at the engine/windshield). So it might actually be on upside down in your car.
I harp on this alot but those things are pretty sensitive. And since you were a software engineer, you should know there's only so much you can do with software to fix a hardware issue.

  11. is the throttle position sensor fucked up on the stang?
mine was and it just messed everything up, caused it to rev itself all the way up on start and keep itself there (presumably without air coming in too it even messed with the trans, it did not run right at all

  12. Just found the channel today and already a dozen videos in. This channel is great and to see someone do something i wish I had the time and resources to do is awesome. Especially in my hometown where i can watch you whip a Lotus around the local Kmart. You ever need a grease-monkey for tear downs let me know. Engineer by trade car enthusiast by heart.
