Hello?
terminal showing "command not found" on the first step. please help asap!
It always says "waiting for devices" and doesnt do anytging after
I want to use my Wind mobile Nexus 4 with Koodo will following your video be able to do this
i like how you completely skipped how to get to the usb debugging screen.
my phone won't let me click yes or no in the unlock bootloader screen. pressing volume up and down doesnt do anything, neither does pressing teh power, i have to hold the power button for 10 seconds to shut the phone off
Use this command to backup all info before u unlock it: "adb backup -apk -shared -all -f C:backup.ab"
And then this command to restore when finished unlocking bootloader: "adb restore C:backup.ab"
Tthis guide should be called "How to unlock the bootloader in the Google Nexus 4 for people who already know how to do it"
There seem to be some big gaps / assumptions. No info on how the phone is connected to whatever it is connected to (MAC ? PC?), no info on ADB (what is it, etc.)….
This video is slightly confusing. There's a section missing at 0:40 I guess. Also, what does he click on at the end? Yes or No?
much easier than my one x i traded in for this bad boy cannot wait to add custom roms on mine 😀
Thanks for video – however this is for those already familiar with the Nexus phone, adb, fastboot etc.
I am familiar with Android having had an SGS for the last 2yrs (your video guides helped me a lot during those early days – thank you) a Nexus noob can I use the adb that I've been using with my SGS (I realise that I will need new drivers)
TIA BLADESMAN1889
Nice video – although it would be really handy if you showed how you hooked it up and did it without the nexus toolkit.
lolol i feel ya
no in 13 nov
It looks easy, but… what is that adb thing?
One of the first steps towards root.
What are the disadvantages of unlocking the bootloader?
Coming out 13th Nov
The score in Geekbench 2 is around 2000 (1,5GHz quad-core), holy shit! And the Nexus 10 is around 2300 (1,7GHz dual-core),really impressive
No, the Optimus G and the Nexus 4 are better
Custom OS? so you can change the OS, for example to Windows phone 8?
Why did you have LauncherPro installed? o_O
he was able to get it since he can review it. its out in about a week for everyone 😀
That was fast way to do it how you do that command prompt thing. I rather us nexus toolkit myself.
yes, yes it will
Will this void warranty?
13th bro.
@Nikita Auzyak Best phone in 2012? Not even close. That tittle belongs to the gs3 and note 2
