What a difference a year and a half makes, eh? OK, call it 20 months, maybe. Regardless, here’s the brand-new Verizon Droid DNA, and the aging ThunderBolt. HTC phones, both. One represents the manufacturer’s first go at an LTE device, back when the technology was new, and design (and battery life) suffered for it. A 4.3-inch display. Mere 1400 mAh battery. And, damn, was that thing ever thick.

i to went from the Thunderbolt to the DNA and its a really great choice aside from the built in battery which to me doesnt have very bad battery at all i can get around 24 hours out of a single charge. where the thunderbolt i was lucky to get 8 hours. although lack of a SD card kind of sucks but im just fine with 16 gigs of storage and as much as i miss my unlimited data, i get along just fine on the new share everything plan. since its mom and i with 6 gigs, and she hardly uses it XD
I went from the TB to the droid dna and the dna is the best phone ive ever had. I think im satisfied til summer 2014
Yeah my poor old guy needs to go I have the thunderbolt. I ready to get the DNA.
A thunderbolt with extended battery and case fits in my hand better than the overly tall and big DNA ha ha ha. I don't have Michael Jordan hands so DNA Awkward. Year and a half later. Once the battery goes your screwed lol heh
Can't remove the battery to put in an extended battery like my Thunderbolt that fits in the palm of my hand perfect lol, hahaha. The thunderbolt has 32gig removable memory the DNA has 16 gigs non removable, lol ha ha ha. A YEAR AND A HALF LATER HEH HEH HEH HA HA HA HO HO HO I CAN'T GET OVER IT…..
Ha ha heh heh, can't keep laughing. Basically same technology bud. Im still using my Thunderbolt, best Damn phone I've ever used. Heh heh heh
Was anyone laughing with him?
This phone is awesome! The DNA isn't bad either…
the thunderbolt won lol
I'd like to see you back that statement up when you could only use the technology for 4 hours cause of the tiny battery.
two great phones!
I found out that an upgrade would cost 430 dollars. It's just not worth it. The Thunderbolt wins!
The thunderbolt is been an excellent phone. Upgrading is nice, but I am I going to get 200 dollars worth of upgrade? Maybe. This video helped, but I wish he didn't laugh so much at a serious question.
Robot Hands caress my phone
I can't wait to smash my Thunderbolt with a hammer. The worst phone ever crested with Robot Hands
I don't find anything humorous about this video .
Why doesn't htc put in earphones???
stop bullying the thunderbolt it is still a good android phone ;(
Can't hear half the stuff that's said. Chuckle chuckle chuckle
I still like thunderbolt better
@SodamIonYat lol
LOL that's pretty hilarious.. what a difference a year and a half makes!
Phil sounds like he had a joint before this video lol.
Yeah we suck, hopefully when google restock the nexus 4 I can get rid of this piece of crap!
Lol u didn't catch what he did watch it again
I feel bad for the users that stuck it out with the Thunderbolt.
@Michael Marsh um. i think the DNA can text, call, and surf the web also, with gaming as a bonus. i hate how everyone puts android out as this complicated ios ,wen it can be just as simple as the iphone. thats the thing about android ur not stuck having to do things the way anyone wants, u have freedom to do what you waNt with it. & there amazing features there for anyone willing to try it out. More bang for ur buck, same, or less price as iphone.. with 10x more features
Thunderbolt ics yet ? when
Its not that fucking funny. Just stop.
2020 mha battery? Even if HTC has good standby time its still too much of a small battery I think. Cause when u start using the battery is gonna go down in a quickness. Kinda like the iPhone 5, it has really good standby but if your a heavy user the iPhone 5 won't last you even 1/3 of the day
$600 verizons website
dont see why people keep comparing the iPhone or iPhone 5 to androids? the iPhone is a actual phone, where you use it for texting, talking and surfing the web, with gameplay just as a bonus. Android is for editing, modding, and customizing to your hearts content. Chill with the comparisons.
put an iphone 5 next to the DNA …..you will die laughing
Would someone tell me what was so funny because I wasn't laughing!
I'm still rocking the Thunderbolt, and the DNA is the phone I will probably upgrade too. Just gotta watch the reviews and more about battery life.
stop trying to act so cool you stupid fuckin comments. u know what he is talkin about
@abincheriyan12 there is no unlocked ones the HTC droid DNA comes out of the box with gsm global capabilities, HTC and Verizon decieded to keep it unlocked so you can put a gsm Sim inside as far as pricing retail price your looking between 600-700 dollars
Its a Verizon phone so budget for $600+ possibly $700.
I can't see any funny.
How much does droid DNA unlocked cost if they have unlocked ones
