Kim Potter is facing a second-degree manslaughter charge in connection with Wright’s death. In a statement, prosecutors say Potter’s “action caused the unlawful killing of Mr. Wright and she must be held accountable.†Police say Potter meant to draw a Taser, but drew her handgun instead.

Nobody deserve to die, but we cant also act in a way that can put our life in danger, Specially in the hands of a armed human police officer that can make a mistake and cost your life.
The fact that she only shot one time from her service revolver someone confirmed with me that it was an accident most cops are trained to shoot 3 to 5 rounds she only pulled the trigger once because tasers only fire once at a time
Here’s a question without a body camera we probably wouldn’t get the real story I wonder has anyone had any interactions with this police officer in the past has she ever shot someone else her records and her past must be looked at 26 years and you make this mistake it’s out rages to think we’re paying big bucks for such incompetence she could’ve easily have shot an innocent passenger a child or even her partner
