  1. Hello Eric,

I have a 2008 Volvo XC90 and about to change rotors, pads, ebrake shoes and  brake hoses.  This SUV have ABS.  Looking at the ABS Control Unit, there are 4 brake lines going to each wheel.  I also learned that, Im suppose remove the fuses for the ABS system.

    Questions:

    1.  After you changed the brake hoses, you bled the nipples without removing the master cylinder cover.  Why is that?  Arent you supposed to remove the cylinder cover?

    2.  I also have the Mytyvac Vacuum bleeder.  Any suggestions other suggestions when using a vacuum bleeder?

  2. Couldn't agree more. Tires, brakes & Suspension. In that order. I own an older ZX600, and I'm about to spend $250 on OEM pads & seals rebuilding the brakes. Cosmetically, it's a POS. Cracked chipped & welded cowlings. And I kinda like it that way. If I park it in the City next to a two year old Ducati, I know a bike thief wont even look at it hahaha

  3. Eric! Trying to upgrade my horn in my integra with hella horns. One of the things that are over looked is having a nice horn for safety. Honda horns are horrible. If you get a chance to make a video on how to wire it up that would be great!

    Love your videos.

  4. Motor oil has definitely improved, but oil filters get dirty and clogged just as fast as they always have.  Just something to think about.

  5. In this vid you said "jump right in".  It took you a minute and 19 seconds to 'jump right in'.  Work on that, will ya?  In general, THANKS ALOT for your great instructions.  I just changed the front rotor on my '93 Honda thanks to you.

  6. I have a friend in the market for a 2001 Ford Escape.  I hear theres a few problems with it. Anything I should look for?

  7. hi I got a 03 Malibu the theft system light stay on the car starts and runs fine just wondering how to fix it before it becomes a problem

  8. The RX8 has a Rotary, The best seals are ceramic. They have to be warmed up to 75degreesC and cooled down to 75, very important for turbo because
the oil going up to the turbo when it is hot and if not cooled down the oil stays in the turbo then wrecks the bottomed. Not good for everyday use.

  9. Hey eric can u make a video on whats a good diff to a bad diff in sound im going to be buying a diff soon i want to the corecte sound ty.

  10. I have a 2002 honda civic ep2 with just under 119,000 miles on it and I'm going to change the oil soon… From new Honda recommends 5w30 fully synthetic but as it's a high mileage engine and it is more than likely fairly worn would it be safer to go to 10w40 fully synthetic? If so what brands? Thanks Eric!

  11. Chevy small blocks have always had problems with premature valve guide wear. It's actually the norm for compression to be fine, but the guides are shot. The valve seals on those engines are also known for hardening and breaking, thus adding further to the oil burning problems.

  12. on the brake fluid thing, I thought you said its a good idea not to top it off because when your brake pads wear down the fluid goes down in the reservoir with it. if you put more fluid in the system than is needed you could do damage.

  13. Hi Eric..
I have Accord and I have problem that it coming to the fifth gear fastly and the engine circle became lower 1500 rpm/min with only 80 speed?? What can I do?

  14. when i first start my car up, i get like a ticking sound under the hood until my car warms up. after it warms up the ticking goes away. btw i drive a 1999 dodge intrepid

  15. 2012 Suzuki Kizashi. I've had my front rotors machined twice, bought new pair, still ended up bending. is there a way to check the pressure the caliper is putting out per wheel to see if one if malfunctioning.
    Thanks!

  16. 1995 honda civic, crank, no start. I watched your video, tested wires, coil, & igniter, still no start. New battery, plugs, & wires. What other tests can I perform to diagnose the problem? Could it be timing?

  17. My dads car is slowing leaking oil, not fast, but over a few days, or a couple of weeks it is losing it, any ideas?

  18. Hi Eric, I´ve been a great fan of your show for a while and I really want to ask you something, recently I got a 98 Toyota 4Runner, and it is really low in the rear part, almost at any bump it hits the bump stops and it feels rough. I´ve been told by some other 4Runners owners that thats how the 4Runner feels like (Low in the rear end). What could I do to fix this problem? Have you ever had a problem like mine? Is it because the spring suspension? Do I need to get a Lift kit? What do you think. What can I do? Greetings from Ensenada Baja California Mexico.

  19. Do you know anybody that works on the military vehicles? If so what tools do they use, because i dont want to buy tools that i don't need. thanks for the help!
