  1. I'm on three get 20mbps left ee aka Orange as it was too expensive so I'm on the one plan 36pm bargain with unlimited internet and I was promised when thay roll out 4g I will get it at no extra cost as long as I stick with my 4g enabled device

  2. The only difference really, except the speeds while you get amazing speeds is how fast it starts the ping-test. It instantly starts the ping test and its done so quick you barely see it.

Even if I get 50 MS in PING on my 3G, and 10 Mbits download with full signal in good areas, it still doesnt connect to the server as fast as the 4G network does.
Thats the only advantage I say. It's great for programs such as Skype or Facetime.

But, EE are extremely pricy. Their too new.

  3. Considering the amount of free WiFi that is around now, I won't be upgrading in a rush. I've had 3G for ages, I very rarely use it as there is usually a WiFi connection about, and it's much faster!

  4. 3G is much better. You get more for your money and 4g(LTE) is not working good and £41 a month for 1 gb is a joke when you can get unlimited 3G for £36 a month.

  5. I'm one who has been getting up to 25mbps download speed on Three's network too. It's not bullshit at all. Average speed I get is about 20mbps.

  6. DC-HSDPA supports up to 42.6 Mbit/s which is more than capable of those speeds. I have tested the speeds on my Xperia T and have several times had about 25 Mbits. Where is your evidence of this 'bullshit'. and btw are you even on the Three network? Or are you an EE fanboy? Get your facts right before you yourself post bullshit.

  7. Well lets look at it this way. I download films on my phone and a film averages out at 1 gb. So yh its not hard to use 8gb. I also stream music so I use on average 30gb a month. iTunes films are like 6gb per movie.

  8. u people got problems how the fuck can u use 8gb in a month even 3gb in a month is loads wtf are u doing to take so much data. and all you people that are saying rip off your right but it is business when o2 get theres started EE will probly make them cheaper and or come out with unlimited data pack to edge ahead again cuz o2 wont be able to do that as when there service starts it wont be able to handle u mad unlim users cuz it get blocked up.

  9. I got 24.7 mbps download on my 3g through Three on Thu morning and on average it's now around 11 megs, and up to 19 from my desk at work, or about 13-14 when I'm on the shitter. As of now I see the main benefit of 4G is in the upload speeds which are 'fairly' impressive.

  10. I have recieved 28mbps down and 4 up on a iphone 5 in east london on THREE haha. So o canceled my bt broadband package and just tether three is by far the best network

  11. Thats true but EE definately dictate the ridiculous pricing of their own tariffs (and likely the £139 upfront cost for the phone). Nokia should never have signed an exclusivity agreement, especially as their future is so precarious.

  12. When these speed start to average 20+ I might be interested, but I don't live in Central London and with more and more people joining, the speeds I can only see getting worse.

Hence the reason I will stick with my HSPA+ and £15.50 a month unlimited everything.

  13. Lol, on 3 I'm getting 19.5mbps on their 3G network. And, they are getting 4g by the start of 2013 because of a deal with ee. I can only imagine how fast that will be!
