Wow, when I read that, I was really hoping that Google would fix the sad tragedy that is their Messenger service. Apple has refined their IMessage years ago. You can text and call from your Mac, and it'll sync to your iPhone. You can FaceTime from your Mac and iPhone also. What does Google do? "Lol good luck with your 3rd party apps bro."
Google Voice / Messenger / Hangouts has been nothing but trouble for me.
