  1. Awesome job so far big guy, keep up the good work. My question is if you had your AC system vacuumed down and checked for leaks professionally at Firestone with nothing left in it and you can't find a leak(visibly). Is it safe to charge the system again with fresh freon or do you think the compressor needs to be replaced or the orifice tube? The reason why I ask this is because I have added freon and it will hold a charge for a couple days before it stops again. Fyi: The Tech at Firestone said that the compressor is bad at the high side was at 400 and low side showed no pressure. If you could help me out or put me in the right direction it that'll be great! Thanks again for all your videos thus far.

  2. Thank you for another one..well twenty first edition. Love watching and learning. Listining to all the honda talk makes me miss having a 4 with a 5 .

  3. Hi I have a chevy blazer and my A/C doesn't work, so first thing I did was replace the blend door actuator, when I plug in the new actuator it goes to full heat and doesn't have any control over the blend door. Just wondering if you knew what it could be or what parts I need? Thanks

  4. Hey Eric…just so u know….if u dont try to label your tech talks at all, then most wont find them connecting them to a subject or subjects to listen to. You might want to label some of it so it can be sought after and get way more hits then just questions live which to most would be something they have no clue about or cant punch up when they search for a subject on cars or mechanics. Just fyi. Thanks!

  5. Thank you Eric, when I recharged the ac I used a hose with a Gage on it. It took a hole can, it's still low, but it's working great. Thank you.

  6. Hi Eric I like your channel because you are nicely down to earth and as you do seem to have a good handle on Honda civic stuff.
Firstly The almera is the UK version of your Sentra
Secondly i have a set of Honda civic dual carbs on my NI5 Nissan engine and I can't find any way to adjust the idle mixture Is it hidden somewhere?
    Cheers
    Iain

  7. Thank you for doing these Q & A videos and for being so professional.  You are one the best organized Youtubers that I have discovered.  Thanks for including all the links and for your great answers to the questions.

  8. My experience with WD-40 is the same.  It's good at getting squeaks out of minor things that squeak, and it's a good cleaner.
If you need a good penetrating fluid, get a dedicated penetrator like PB Blaster or Aerokroil.

  9. I had a 1991 toyota camry 4 banger and the ac light lit up but not the clutch. I ran a wire to the clutch put 12v to it and it come on and made the car cool. I ran a switch to the drive side and that worked for 3 weeks while I found out the problem.  I found a corroded ground wire going to the computer  I fixed it took aff my fix and then it ran great up to the day some idiot rear ended us and put me and wife in the hospital for 3 months.

  10. Hi Eric!! Greetings from Greece 😉

    Some quick questions,
How would you understand valve (or valve seat recession) without having to use compression test or removing the head of the engine? Are there any signs that can indicate the problem? Is negative fuel trim related to a valve problem?

  11. Any feelings on the >2009 foresters, I'm planning on driving 5 hrs to take a look at one.  I know they've had bad gasket issues.

  12. I don't get this.  I posted here before and during your live video and didn't see you answer anyone who posted here.  I post questions on Scotty Kilmer when he hosts live video's, but the posting takes place elsewhere, what gives.

  13. hey Eric, love your stuff. So I have a 1999 Nissan Sentra that has been having issues with overheating. No heat out of the heater, all the coolant is vaporizing, did a combustion test but color didn't change, all hoses are tightened. I drive the vehicle 5 miles and it begins overheating with white smoke coming out of the overflow and my coolant is overflowing the overflow. I have no idea about what to do. I tried using head gasket sealant and it "patched" the problem for about a month but now it is back.

  14. Hi mate from Australia. Big fan of the DIY, you have gotten me out of a hard spot many times. I drive a mazdaspeed 6 (Mazda 6 mps in Australia), My question is that after drilling out a broken stud on the Turbo and being extremely carful to keep the turbo clean while it was out of the car, there seems to be a rattle under high boost, nothing under low and medium only when I floor it. I was wondering if its oil or water, or if the turbo has been unsettled and some ware and tare is starting to show. Thanks again mate. Tim

  15. Hi Eric, I recently watched your cleaning of the condenser video and it was great! I just have a question for you concerning my AC car unit. I have a Honda Accord 2007 and the compressor seems to turn off and on every five seconds. Is this normal? At times the air conditioner starts to blow hot air again after the cold air has came in. Thank you for your time :)!
