does anybody else have the g4? and what do you think about the battery life, because on mine, for my use, it sucks. That LG is making the battery smaller makes me not wanna buy the phone
I hope they keep removable battery,, that will obliterate competition also
I'm looking forward to the new device. LG V10 was my first LG device and I was more then impressed. It looks like the LG G5 will be my next LG phone, unless they make a LG V11 or something like that.
I need help guys. Should I buy the samsung s6 edge plus or should I wait for the LG G5 ?? thank you
Does anybody know if the lg G4 will have a price drop because of this release?
sangar
I hope it's not like the LG G4 that users have widely experienced the bootloop problem due to hardware defects. I had the LG G4 for 1 month and it randomly had an infinite bootloop turning the phone into a useless brick. I reset it to factory default but nothing worked. I, like many others had to mail it back to LG for repairs which took 2.5 weeks to get my phone back. Good thing it occurred during the 1 year warranty for the phone. If the bootloop problem had occurred after 1 year, LG will not fix or replace phone for you even though it's a hardware defect caused by them. Additionally, LG will not guarantee that problem will not return even after the repairs. They have been keeping a very lowkey about the bootloop problem with the G4. There is a petition online for a class action lawsuit against LG if they ignore the hardware defect after your 1 year warranty is over. I hope the LG G5 won't be the same!
Why removable battery?
YOUR VIET?
WOW, this is NOT what i herd for specs… i herd 5 gigs of ram, a 4100 MaH battery, and the price was going to be about $900
Not too promising, at least 4k mAh battery and 90h usage on 5.7 4k display with magnetic locking system for back cover and usb 3.0.
LG devices are shit. Trust me never buy LG devices. I think the best android device you can buy right now is Cyanogen's ONE
They support hacking(root)…..without root there is not use of owning an Android devices. Switch to iPhone rather if you don't root
The smaller 5.3 to accommodate the useless ticker screen is a disappointment. As for the smaller battery, the cynic inside doubts it has anything to do with a more efficient processor, and more to do with bragging rights on having a lighter, thinner device.
Will there be a new version of the V10?
No swappable battery, no buy.
smaller battery???? no.
it better be water proof ffs
i have G4 stylush with battery 3000 mah very good.
but memori storage is very low …
If the device gets released as described here, LG will get nowhere in its marketshare. Yawn.
5.3 inch? 5.2inch already feel big in my hand. but still okay. im happy LG doesn't made the phone too big.
is the software close to stock android
Well I think it sound kinda disappointing to me. I had the idea that it would be at least the same size as the LG G4 and same battery but faster than G4.
Currently I own the LG G4 and I'm totally satisfied with it. I'm just hoping that the LG G5 will be as impressing as the LG G4 was for me.
im going to buy v10 bcz I cant wait that much long
Integrated battery will always remain a deal breaker for me… I go through factory batteries in little over 6 months so having to pay for replacement 3 to 4 times during my average ownership time of 2 years isn't an option. I switched from Samsung to LG for this very reason a year ago.
Disappointment.. !!
Will it surely get a non-removable battery??
Sounds good to me. Only thing I dislike is the smaller screen size. Now that I think about it the smaller battery is a little worrisome but as he mentioned in the video it might not be an issue. I'm really want this phone to succeed not only for LG's sake, but for it's consumers too.
What LG should focus on their next high-end phone is battery life. Everything else is just perfect for me.
LG V10 is a better option
no usb c?
looking foward into getting me the LG G5
I'm tired of the old charging ports. every Android phone should be going with usb type c
5.3" Yes!!
Smart decision.
They've been missing out on a lot of sales because many ppl didnt want 5.5"
I'm waiting next lg phone, I bought my first Samsung phone and it will be my last one. Nobody say how touchwiz suck or maybe they get paid to say their phone are great. Only positive point about this s6 was camera and screen the rest suck.
i just fell that lg was woning in big phones because if you have a big hand youll need it
Does anyone else just end the video at 3:35?
i just bought the LG V10.its a very very very decent handset.bought it as an upgrade from LG G flex 2.hopefully the g5 will stick with the removable battery and expandable memory.
