U are like the dad that doesn't yell at u when your holding the light
You explain very much better
2:32 the "tire iron" has an advantage: it provides a pure torque so the car doesn't tend to roll. With the "breaker bar" the car wants to move.
If you feel thankful to have learn something, by all means send me some tools. 😛
Good film man ðŸ‘ÂÂðŸÂ¿ perfect explanation
I'm at a point now that I won't listen to other guys
my dad never taught me this stuff so i’m happy i found an amazing tutorial:)
10:40 my girlfriend when i finish in 3 minutes
Thanks Chris.
I came to learn how to change a TYRE. Instead I learned how to change the wheel
Great video!!!
2021 now
Can you take tires Off a semi track
Do you really need a torque wrench ? I use the cross bar only before
Thanks for the video very informative
Subscribed, been working on my bus and replaced spindle assembly, caliper, pads, rotar, bearings and i put the tire on and something clearly wasn't 100%. Like you said, i used Milwaukee Impact… to much power and also rather then star, i went in a circle. So i'm going to try this, if it's not that, likely i have to re align. Thanks for your education and detailed video. I'll make sure to watch more!
Why do you lower the car before torquing the the lugs
If. Your a girl and don't have the upper body strength ( like me ) jump on the star shape tire iron 😠that of course I have had to buy separately as the vehicle I purchased did not have a star tire iron like the one u used 😛
@chrisfix how you know how much force you need to apply when you don't use torque?
Hey what size boards you using and what kind are you working with for the jack stands and the the other jack?
i love how much he’s grown since his old videos
Can we get one with putting new tires on old rims?
Who's watching tgis in 2021
this is the wheel not the tyre
ChrisFix’s vehicles will run until the end of time
Thank you man, that was really helpful!!
Correct
What tools was used so I can star buying it, just in case
Can't you put the jack on the front ridges on the edge of the car? That's what my owners manual says for a pt cruiser but that's for a scissor lift. Does that apply to a floor jack too? Also, where would I put my jack stands? Thanks.
thanks chris
Bro, you're a blessing to the world.
Please, any post of yours showing the logics on how to remove a wheel locks?
i literally on the side of a road
Thank you so much ChrisFix. The last time i went to a mechanic they torque my wheel lugs so tight and they also made my oil drain plug so tight and stripped it off. I had to buy the tools and do it myself and learned all thanks to you.
Man I want that torque wrench
Imagine seeing a guy take off the tire off his car then put it back on right away 😂
I wish I knew that technique earlier because last time I spent like 10 minutes trying to put on a heavy truck tire
5:58 who else got scared
Gotta learn how to do this !! Amazing video
what is the pattern for four studs?
13:50 Or just reverse/drive forward a bit off of the block?
what if you do not have torque wrench?
For the people who need a breaker bar and don't have one… What u can do is find a strong piece of metal tubing and slide it over of the tyre iron which extends the arm. A longer arm makes it easier to lift and saves having to go out and buy a breaker bar.
