I gave away my Mustang and you helped. Well, some of you helped. Those of you that follow me on social media that is. I cover the story in detail in the video.

Zachary Kelley is now the new owner of the Mustang. I’m very happy that it went to one of my viewers. Even more happy he was able to come and tow the car away.

I like giving away cars. I’d like to do more of it.

  1. I feel bad for liking the video but he’s sad so now I’m confused 🤣🤣🤪

  2. Enjoyed the pissing off BMW drivers! I had a 78 Fairmont with factory 139 hp 302 cu in (4.9 L) V8. It was the ugliest car I ever owned a metallic green four-door with a fake tan landau roof, but I think I've never laughed and smiled so much at the "next" traffic light…keep up the entertaining and education vids Eric!

  3. Eric,
I hated that Ford Fairmont for the longest time. Especially during the onslaught of the videos, but, I have to say, it has grown on me. It is a super cool car and as a perfectionist myself I can appreciate the work you've put into it. I'm glad you like it and I'm glad it has been shared with the world.
    Cheers

  4. So I owned a 84 mercury capri (basically a rebadged mustang) with a 3.8 v6 with TBI. That was hands down the biggest piece of shit car I've ever owned. That 3.8 was horrible. I also had a 80 pinto (lima 2.3) and my current daily is a 5.0/AOD. Both of those were/are very solid motors but dang, that 3.8 was a PITA!

  5. Man!!… i keep going back to Zach's reaction when Eric gave him the car and he says Thank you so much!! Thats was awesome!! True moment! 👍 Congrats Zach awesome video!

  6. Go check out his old video intros XD like his honda vid from 2009🤣🤣🤣🤣

  7. I have a request/question for you, Eric.
As someone who got into all of this between 2-3 years ago, learning in part from you.. I now feel comfortable diagnosing and repairing even relatively advanced issues.. But I have one major problem that affects every job:
It's still a pain in the d to get things open and back together. Whether it's rust, odd proprietary clips, being at odd angles, or just having a tool that 'does the job' but is not exactly the best tool for said job..
So: Do you have any overarching tips regarding problem solving your way through a disassembly or assembly? Because getting it open is frankly the hardest part of nearly repair.

  8. Peter Griffins of the Family Guy got a free car? I thought he was a cartoon . Oops, I mean Zachary Kelly.
Congrats on have something to do during the Corona virus close down.

  9. Does the fuel injection system have a dashpot setting? If it dies when you rev it you may need to program it to raise the idle for a few seconds so it doesn’t stall. Like the old dashpots on carbs would slow the return to idle.
