4. Enjoyed the pissing off BMW drivers! I had a 78 Fairmont with factory 139 hp 302 cu in (4.9 L) V8. It was the ugliest car I ever owned a metallic green four-door with a fake tan landau roof, but I think I've never laughed and smiled so much at the "next" traffic light…keep up the entertaining and education vids Eric!

5. Eric,
   I hated that Ford Fairmont for the longest time. Especially during the onslaught of the videos, but, I have to say, it has grown on me. It is a super cool car and as a perfectionist myself I can appreciate the work you've put into it. I'm glad you like it and I'm glad it has been shared with the world.

7. So I owned a 84 mercury capri (basically a rebadged mustang) with a 3.8 v6 with TBI. That was hands down the biggest piece of shit car I've ever owned. That 3.8 was horrible. I also had a 80 pinto (lima 2.3) and my current daily is a 5.0/AOD. Both of those were/are very solid motors but dang, that 3.8 was a PITA!

23. I have a request/question for you, Eric.
    As someone who got into all of this between 2-3 years ago, learning in part from you.. I now feel comfortable diagnosing and repairing even relatively advanced issues.. But I have one major problem that affects every job:
    It's still a pain in the d to get things open and back together. Whether it's rust, odd proprietary clips, being at odd angles, or just having a tool that 'does the job' but is not exactly the best tool for said job..
    So: Do you have any overarching tips regarding problem solving your way through a disassembly or assembly? Because getting it open is frankly the hardest part of nearly repair.

36. Hey Eric what exactly does the loud switch do and how do you hook it up. Thinking of doing it on my 98 chevy suburban k2500 5.7l vortec 4×4

37. Does the fuel injection system have a dashpot setting? If it dies when you rev it you may need to program it to raise the idle for a few seconds so it doesn’t stall. Like the old dashpots on carbs would slow the return to idle.
