this is fake there is no fuel in the tank when you put it in the car 100% staged
Coming back to watch old episodes, and there really never was a time where cooper helped. I can see why cleetus let him go
Love the “new†time lapse music, the stuff you guys used 3 or so years ago just didn’t hit the same
It's similar in a lot of ways to the 4.6. Granted, it's got more valves, cams, stronger parts, and more displacement.
This video contained the last time that crown Vic hood was ever shown on the chanel I think
Little did we know this is the last time neighbor would ever have a hood
The inception of James 🙂
Great stuff guys ……BUT you should wear disposable gloves for this type of activity ……….
Was this james' first cleet appearance?
it's almost like Ford wanted this swap to happen
if it fits, I RIPS ÒWÓ
Who would have guessed this Ford motor would have lasted at least six more LS lol
I want to see how a coyote fits in crown Vic, maybe do a coyote in Chief ? Im gonna try to do the swap in 11' cvpc this spring I got to get a spare cvpc before I try, I assume you used gt500 motor mounts or 4.6 motor mounts for your swap in crown Vic? And could you use the factory ecu for tuning being yours is an 11 it should have the Ford control pack?
Where i can fund this engine??
Thank you for respecting forward I'm putting AGT 500 engine in
Fun to see where it all came from
Whats with the homoerotic music
Play some Skynard
I lost it at 3:33
What year is the vic
Does anyone know where he got the music for his time lapse portion of this video
Now your making me wonder if it will fit in my 11th gen f150.
Hell ya brother
James is a talented guy. You guys got lucky finding him!
James is a great mechanic
James grab the tool box ep 1! The beginning of next level Cleeter!
When fitting the gt 500 in the crown Vic why don't you Dent the fire wall in to make more room for the rockers and the top of the engine
jamie is such a badass mechanic… really love how the team dynamic improved for the better when he joined in
The Mustang cradle bolted right up to the Crown Vic? Really?
It's fun to watch 3 people do what I do by myself.
Sir,
Serious question about cradles…
I have a 63 Fairlane and it has had front suspension issues from day one, call it age plus a little geometry that was poorly considered from the very factory start.
I've also considered the whole Drum to Disk swap, but never quite got there. Powersteering was never a problem, but obviously a newer setup would make this easier to implement.
The question then is, after seeing how nice and easy a new cradle installs the whole front end as a single component, which cradle setup should I pursue? Obviously here you have access to both the Crown Vic and the Mustang, and I see you swapped in the Mustang's cradle while the Crown Vic's original is now removed and likely gone with the old engine. I'd suppose if I could get the front cradle assemble, I'd then go about removing the entire front end of my Fairlane and then swapping in this newer setup, perhaps even drilling new holes or building mounts plates for the bolts to mate one to the other…. I may just have to find myself a Mustang that has had the rear destroyed, if this is so…long time in the future, of course!
What is this music?? I need to know
A tape measure will tell you if something will fit. It would be good if you could put in an aftermarket fuel pump and a bigger ID fuel line.
Check out my channel guys!!!
QuickVic30 off of CVN had a hole cut out for his Lightning 5.4 in his Corwn Vic. That thing looked dope. Saw it in a car show in Miami about 9 years back.
Surface rust on an aluminum subframe you say?
Did he say 5.4?
I love your channel. I have a 73 340 Duster I built to 03 SCCA Super Production Over 5.0L rules, it's full road race ready. At about the 90% mark of the build I decided I wanted it streetable, so I did it. It's currently torn down for a repaint to get rid of the race "PULL ME OVER NOW!" paint. I'm also lowering the compression so I can drive it more than 50 miles from home. lol I'll follow this build.
What happened to the coyote 5.0?
What fuel pump you guys use I want one for my 03 f150
