Join me in building a custom LED light bar mount for my truck. I start with a drawing and some pieces of metal and make it into a fully functional rig to hold my 42in LED Light Bar. The rack consists of bed rails, a headache rack, and a roof rack, all-in-one, to hold the light bar. I use 1.5in .083 wall square tubing, a 90amp harbor freight flux welder, a grinder, and a cutoff wheel to get the job done.

13:28 brooooo u can see his face but he looks different?
this also works as a roll cage kind of
Great design! May I, and to late Im sure. But some support for those uprights might be good, even just a triangle for each side.
You accidentally show your face
Can I do this on a jeep patriot?? Lol
Heyy
I guess it would look great if you change the rims on your truck or paint it black 😃😃
Invest in a real welder man. A 110v welder with flux core wire is a perfect recipe to redo this whole project 10 years later. Previous owner of my 4Runner used a shitty harbor freight welder with the same wire and all the rear bumper welds broke when I backed into a tree. Ended up having to go back and rebuild it with a 220v gas feed welder
"Oooh that melted my glove" 🤣🤣
This was an awsome build!!! I have the same welder for arouond the houses projects but never thought of utililizing on my truck. Great idea for the weekend !! Watched many of your videos and I have to say you are very methodical and informative… New subscriber here!!!!
man you have magic with every thing you touch 🙂
Hey Chris if you wanted to could you make the space behind the light bar a roof rack storage area
put some amber and white led strobes all around the frame 360 degrees, so if you are ever stopped on the side of the road, you will be covered.
what welder do you own? and what settings did you use
look at his face 12:59
Awesome Job Dude!!! 1 & 2.
nice build!
this car will be more realistic with that bars on the truck
I woulda loved to install some but they’re illegal where I live
Personally I would have added like that diamond wire mesh to the top behind the light to like hold ice chest etc without it scratching up the roof of the truck but I also don’t have a truck or any of the materials to do this so oof
Serious 2010 throwbacks right here
Wondering if it made the wind whistle after that inventive hack
Hey chris im doing this on my f350. I just wanted to know where u buy your metal at?
