I just recently saw a post on reddit asking the ex cons of reddit what the hardest prison habit was for them to break after getting released. Well, since I’m blocked in certain subreddits, I couldn’t respond. And because of that, I decided to make a video on the subject. And these 3 things are what I personally struggled with most.

  1. Not having to go back hard af over a little thing. You bump me? I’m ready to fight. You said something I perceived as rude? Gonna catch these hands. Yeah. Hard to break and be in society

  2. It’s just like getting out of the military. I know, I’ve been in both prison and the military. I’m double fucked!

  3. Joe , I know this blog was posted ages ago but …😂😂😂those Prison Issue spectacles 😃😃😂😂 that voice 😨😨😨.

  4. After prison habits?? 1) Yes, the lingo used inside. For a while, my girlfriend didn't know what the hell I was saying. 2) Wearing shower shoes, in my own damn bath tub. 3) Making meals with Ramen soups. 4) White iced honey buns. Still eat em to this day. 5) Not trusting anyone, or much of anything. 6) Hiding my snacks, like someone might steal them. I'm talking about zip locking my zoom zooms and wham whams and putting them in the toilet tank. There is definitely an avenue of PTSD after prison.

  5. This doesn't have to do with this video but Joe did you see the prisons in Norway compared to U.S.? Check it out on here. Share your thoughts about it. If you think it would work here, etc.

  6. joe im 32 years old i never been locked up but might have to i feel like my life is over anyway im about to be homeless and ihave been homeless before and jail to me 3 square meals a bed and a warm jail cell looks really good to me dude you should try being homeless for a week jail looks mighty sexy

  7. After my first depletion of my coffee container, i instinctively looked for a place to stash my coffee scoop before realizing i no longer had to do that….

  8. My brother was in prison most of his life, and was very institutionalized. He finally got out and stayed out for a few years but died due to a heart attack in his 50's.
The one phrase he spOke all of the time, that i got tired of hearing was, "YA NO WAT I MEAN?"
My youngest son is in prison now for 2 yrs. His first time and spent his 40th birthday inside. I only hope he comes out of this somewhat unscathed. Hopefully it makes him grow up!! Thank you for your show Joe..

  9. U Sound Like The Water Boy In Them Old Videos😂😂 & U Sound 15😂😂🤦🏼‍♂️
