8. Found this video after my 98 TL showed the same leak on the radiator, super helpful in determining that’s the problem. 98 3.2 TL with 230,000mi and original radiator, so not too bad considering it’s 20 years old. Thanks for the video!

14. I replaced the Acura’s radiator, thermostat upper and lower radiator hose about three years ago… no problems. Recently it over heated and I noticed the fan actually melted and the fan fuse popped. Now I’ve installed a new motor for the fan but they only kick on if the ac is running. They don’t kick on at operating temperature with the ac off. I believe it maybe the relay. Do you know which relay controls that and how to test them?

15. you have a video showing how to replace the cooling fan control relay my 97 Acura tl 3.2 cooling fans do not come on when they should they only come on right before it gets to the red line and drops back down help me please can't seem to find it or how to replace it

18. As a person that has been involved in the design of engine cooling systems, you really should make every attempt at putting those "Baffles" back into place. They are used exactly as described to get the air flow proper through not just the Condenser, but the Radiator as well. I have seen 20 and 30 degree temperature changes due to not having those baffles into place. In most cases this isn't a huge problem, but it is something to be aware of. Most of the time these are engineered into meet a certain specification. GREAT video, you made this look so easy!

Hello Eric I have a question about my 2004 Cadillac deviled., recently my temp light was almost in the red, I live in Vegas and the temp out here gets to 115 degrees during the summer, anyway, when I opened my hood I found coolest dripping from what looks like an overflow pipe, is this something to worry about?i here story's about the north star engine but from my understanding 2004 Cadillac started using Longer bolts for the headers.should I change the thermostat ? Radiator flush? Or change the radiator , I've never had any overheating problems with this car so……HELP

    Do you need to top off transmission fluid when new rad is installed?

Great video.  Keep them coming.  Not sure about the new camera work…..made me feel a bit "Blair Witch" nauseous but good to try.  Hey, would be good if you could rationalise a list of tools in priority order of cost vs. usefulness to buy.  Im sure everyone has an opinion but yours would be more useful. (How common used, cost of tool, etc etc).  Keep up the good work!

35. Good refresher for sure. I'm just about to replace the radiator in my 98 Maxima. Turns out both the cap and the rad are original and the top tank on the rad is leaking under pressure. Already replaced a rad in my father's 02 Maxima so I doubt I'll find anything surprisingly different. Still shocked that my 95 Tacoma is on the stock radiator though.
