  3. Hey Eric I have a 1997 ford expedition xlt 4×4 5.4 v8 at a cold I crank my suv and it runs fine but when it warms up it sounds like a diesel when you dive it it drives fine except when you come to a stop the idle stays up then the suv cuts off put it in p or n crank it back up idles just fine what causes that the iac modular has been replace please help

  4. On my 40 year old car, just tapping on my dead injector with the plastic handle of a screwdrover a few hundred times, tapping on the fuel pressure regulator which can temporarily up the fuel pressure in the rails, and running a full bottle of All-in-One in 5 gallons of Chevron premium gas, and the injector started ticking healthily again after about 10 seconds on an automotive stethoscope. It was one of my happiest automotive repair moments ever, how easy and cheap it was, and the injector is still working great.

  5. For the question regarding the idle surging on the jeep v6, has anybody suggested checking the coils and their rubber seals or the knock sensors? Maybe pop the hood, engine running, and mist water with spray bottle around the coils and the battery to coil wires.

  6. I just recently repaired my 2002 Pontiac Montana. I let it sit for about 4-5 months until I could get to fixing it . Could the old gas in the Tank be causing a Too lean code? Or was I supposed to bleed the fuel system before start up?

  7. Hello , can a bad catalytic converter affect mpg and performance and will removing it improve mpg and performance , thanks

  8. My neighbor has asked for my help in diagnosing what I will call an elictrical problem. The vehicle's "alarm" will go off randomly when car is parked and unattended. Sometimes the dine light will come on while driving to include the open door dash light. The battery was bad and has been replaced. The horn fuse has been pulled. Door latches work normally when manually tested. It went off again last night. Where should I look next? Of course, issue can not be reproduced when in the shop, lol.

  9. Hello Jim and Eric, quick question why would engine oil smell like gas in a
1989 2.9 v6 ford ranger. Has not been ran in a year or so. thank you

  10. Hey eric just wondering what you think of swapping a 350 4 bolt main from a 78 vette into a 87 Pontiac Parisienne keep up the vids they help alot
