The abandoned 1968 Buick lesabre 400 is back from 4 years ago! I saved this out of a field, got it running, and drove it back home. It’s been parked again for quite awhile but it’s time to finish up the fuel system, do a poor mans vinyl top, and cruise this old car!

I like what you’ve been doing lately with going through the cars you have. I liked that they’re getting attention again and making them drivers
That Buick Lesabre has some beautiful lines i agree, shame it already rosts that bad on the panels. Surely worth some restore work. Hi5
love a LE SAAB_RE
You're going to New Jersey? Intentionally?!?!?!?!?!?!?! 😲😧😨 I feel the same as you on car styling. The cars of the 60' and 70's looked so much sharper than anything from about the mid-80's on up. Today every car on the road looks like just another Japanese car.
Lets stay!
😂 I have to say the end result on the CO2 alarm was priceless.
A feller has a car on the lift and says "I'm going to take it down and change the battry. Then, we'll put it back up and change the oil". Derek, you're not even blonde!
Once again another great show
Hey Derek, love the lasabre! Be great to see some rust repairs whenever you get 5 minutes! Such cool styling
Another great save, thank God for guys like you. Oh and the robo vac lol I lost it 😅
Flat Battery tip #1.4 – Drop the battery a few times on the deck. Not from 22.6ft a couple of inches is enough. Do that a few times and it'll help clear the plates so they take a charge. Peace
About time i see you get frustrated and throw something while on camera i knew you could do it 😂.. Ive always wondered if your dad may have been a little hot headed when working on cars i know mine was lol Ive tried to not do that so my kids won't buy i fail sometimes 😮
What an amazing American beauty ❤ 🇺🇲
Cool car, be nice to see a proper restoration on it. There seems to be endless interesting cars that are just dumped to rot in fields, occasionally someone will dig one out, swap out the tank, oil, plugs, exhaust, battery and fluids to get them running again, only for them to be dumped back in a field to continue rotting. Always make it fun and interesting but be nice to see them go somewhere.
Something i do when cleaning a quaderajet is i run a paperclip through the idle circuits then blow them out with brake cleaner and air it works perfectly for unplugging them
So much yes.
I just love your channel and the life skills and expertise your boys will have as adults great job ❤
Get you an hei for the old girl and youll never look back they are cheap enough online and that will alleviate a whole bunch of her issues old man
Co poisoning is an accumulative poisoning due to it binding with hemoglobin. It should be taken seriously. Even at low levels over time without having obvious symptoms it does major damage to your cardiovascular system and your brain.
Hopping off my giant soapbox now.
Wow I love the Buick and as always great show!
Use the old side can freon tubes. Go get some computer duster. Way better than 134a
Me thinks you gots a bad condenser
I’m a Buick fan, 64 Wildcat hardtop and a 65 Riviera. Love these cars, couldn’t agree more about the styling. Such cruisers!
👍
I’ve probably only ever said this about women but I’ll say it again about this old Buick. “She is a moving art work!”Awesome, awesome rig you have there and you produce a very nice motion picture also. Thank you your dedication and sacrifices for our entertainment 😊
I took a q jet off a 400 Pontiac motor that had been sitting in a shed for 20 years i blew the cobwebs and dust off of and out of it i did not take it apart at all just stuck it on a 305 i was tinkering with and after a little bit of fooling around with it even the accelerator pump worked just hunky dory that old q jetski worked way gooder thsn the pos holley that was on the old girl throttle response especially and milage improved dramatically that carb stayed on her for a long time and moaned daily lol never a hiccup out of it my younger buddy who had not heard a moan before because well hes a fuel injection man the first time i made her moan he giggled amd said thats cool as shit lol the little 305 opened up that 800 cfm carb pretty decent too ..
