10. I had a car that did the same thing as the jag. The electrical contacts in the starter were worn and when heated by the engine the gap would be too large to bridge. After it cooled down the metal would be able to bridge the electrical connection again and you could start up and drive again. Took 45m to and hr to 'reset', learned not to make any stops that weren't absolutely required till I got it replaced.
