It took some time to try all these out but I can honestly say I was happy with all of them. I liked some better than others, but some had some really great features. Check out their website, they have a LOT more gloves than I tried out here. You might find something perfectly suited for your needs.
I have to say, I may be converted to using this type of glove in the future. I just washed my Mechanc gloves and they came out good as new. Considering the cost, it’s actually less expensive than the latex gloves I’ve been using for many years. Yes, there are some drawbacks such as the feedback you get from using latex or nitrile gloves, but on the flip side, my gloves aren’t filling up with sweat on hot days or ripping during use.
You can decide what’s right for you but if you’re considering something other than latex or nitrile, I’d suggest giving Ironclad a look.

I suffer from arthritis which interferes with my work. I found out about a glove made for people with arthritis called Copper Tech and figured what the hell maybe it will help. Have to say I was pleasantly surprised. If you have arthritis or any kind of hand pain it may help you

I just ordered a new pair of the mechanic gloves. I am very happy with the fit. because of my fat palms and stubby fingers most gloves that I can wear have a lot of finger slop. these however fit nice and snug!! gonna order a few more just because they fit my hands perfect. great review.

It's interesting how times have changed. I have maintained military aircraft for over 30 years and the only gloves we ever used were crude leather gloves for hot work like changing brakes on an aircraft that just landed at 130 mph with max braking. The leather gloves were inevitably oil soaked (made them more flexible and comfortable actually) and smoke would pour off them as you pulled off multiple stages of intensely hot brake rotors. And we survived just fine. In fact, the girls seemed to appreciate rough "working" hands over perhaps the softies of an accountant lol. I get a bit of a giggle at those who have followed my generation in aviation. They won't touch a darned thing without their nitrile gloves on for fear of getting dirty. No diss intended, just a different world these days….

The WORST thing is sweating in latex gloves because when you need to put new ones on, it's a nightmare. You almost have to blow compressed air while trying to slide your hand in the glove.
I've tried using re-usable gloves but they never enabled me to pick things up quite the same. If your work is completely dry, then it can be okay.
Seems more and more the video quality is jerky yet the paid ads that Precede the program run just fine. Also, have been watching old "The Invaders" reruns on YouTube without problems. I am on Firefox.

I have ironclad gloves at work, absolutely love them.
Last few years I've been using Mechanix brand fast fit gloves. They are very comfortable and are adequate as a general purpose glove. The only problem is I wear them out too fast. Specifically the finger tips. Can anyone recommend a durable general purpose glove?
Those fingerless gloves you could wear a latex glove under them. you'll have that precision with your finger tips that you like. just a thought.

I have 2 sets for my daily "mechanical" tasks. The "mechanic" type as Eric used the most I also use for common tasks, but the "velcro" type heavy-duty ones I use for handling things like exhausts, brakes and other things where the extra padding helps to avoid getting cut or scolded.

I like the Tundra gloves but I wouldn't spend $65 on a pair of gloves, especially work gloves!
Just remember… don't wear gloves when machining things (especially drill presses)! If that glove gets caught, you will be going to the ER. Sure gloves can really be a good safety device… but they can also be a danger.
