Country music artist – singer, and songwriter James Otto joins Katie this week on PowerNation along with his gorgeous 1966 Chevy C10. James will explain why the truck is named “For Pete’s Sake” and how he learned to drive on this very truck back when it was still a three on the tree. James took it from a long bed to short bed and dropped in a LQ4 built by John Bouchard Racing Engines. It’s painted in a Lamborghini color from PPG called “Balloon White”. James likes to take his C10 out on the Autocross track, so this ain’t no trailer queen! James was certainly influenced by his dad who built Funny Cars in the ‘60s and ‘70s. His first car was a 1972 Chevelle. James cowrote the 2009 Song Of The Year “In Color”. He’s a really great guy and you’ll enjoy getting to know him.
