Will it blow up? probably… will we blame Jeremy? absolutely.
Oh wow, ruby getting her stickers
Do the lads get paid by the high five or something?
I reckon I've seen more high fives in this Ruby series than the sum total I've ever seen in my life before.
James is right. In the early 90s I had to replace the head in my 1979 VW Golf GTI. I thought I knew what I was doing. I had a Chilton manual and I still screwed it up. I put my head gasket in upside down and siezed the new head. So 750 German Marks for each head and an additional 100 marks for the gaskets and head bolts. That little screwup cost me an additional $1150. Total replacement cost was $2500. The extra $150 was for pizza and beer for use of the motor bay and the motor sergeants presence while I was doing the work. He helped occasionally. I will never forget to look for the mark on the top of the head gasket again…… Good work Garrett!
I remember my first blown engine 😅
James can do 2 rings when Cleeter is still on his first. James is pretty damn fast
"This is the only way you learn. It's hands on."
This is so true
Lmfao the "Take 2" monniker was awesome
Now Ruby is coming for the fastest car on this channel
Please keep showcasing the builds and changes. Watching something break then go to fault analysis/tear down, then to the build, the tune and dyno and then back to the track. Easily the most interesting part of the channel and it's Hella informative.
Did James go to school for mechanics? He knows so much about cars
why is it cleetus mcfarland when his names garrett
Anybody else notice that the dumpster has fire all around it this time where before it was just one flame inside it? I'm weak lol
I used to run the Chrome Molly ring cell at Hasting Manufacturing. When I built my 350 sb .30 over I used the rings I made. Was awesome to know I assembled the parts I created.
That's such a scuffed way to gap rings
If Garrett drank beer on screen all day this could be the next Richard and Aaron show.. kind of get the same vibe-ity vibe here..
I need a friend like james
Surprised James didn't use a derito as that gap.LET IT RIP TATER CHIP😂
"Rod bolts are a must."
Breaks three rods and all the big ends are still attached to the crank.
Yeah, you don't need rod bolts for stock parts turbo cars.
A certain song comes to mind Cleetus when I watch your videos. "Another one bites the dust" Lol
Love the truck nuts just chillin on the parts washer in the back ground😂😂
What is the Dubstep song being played at 11.30
James became my favorite out the Cleetus crew, learned soo much from this guy. Dealerships would beg for him to work for them.
James is a great guy! Youre blessed to have him on your team!
20:12 'who does this guy think he is'
bet a merc v8 is a bitch to put together
compared to this USA made
soon to be boat anchor
I love how you guys have that motorized HF $8 grinder but some companies try to sell $300 hand crank grinders 😂
Damn no 500 mile break In I know it’s a “junk yard motor†but damn lol
8:00 blood is red, bruises are blue, you're lining up grinding disk with your face
You can't forget to lubricate your nuts like you said LOL you might get extreme chafing LOL LOL LOL
Someone help me out who’s Ed?
Feel for ya doing file to fit rings… I did a set of file to fit rings for a turbo 4 almost 20 years ago and remember it taking quite some time. Pretty sure I was thinking "I'm glad this isn't a V8" when I was doing them. Glad I did it though…
350 dis-likes = 350 douch bags
Hi guys totally loved this engine build …I’ve seen a few before but never seen how the gapping was done loved it and learned a lot ….. ty…. now I’m continuing to watch
all that work and new parts would have expected you to change to billet pistons and some good rods for a few extra bucks. good work non the less
sounded like one cylinder had low compression on the first turn over. MHO.
Good job on the rebuild…Y`all make it look so easy…And fun..Sounds sweet…
lol “hell yeah 71 psi of oil pressureâ€ÂÂ
dude not professionals I think you mean enthusiastic amateur like most of us
