Gearheads aren’t new to replacing stock exhaust systems with aftermarket to get the perfect sound. But YouTuber GuitarmageddonZL1 took noise level up a notch when he put an aftermarket exhaust system on his Camaro ZL1 with an engine note so loud it blew his side curtain airbags. And probably one of his passenger’s eardrums.
He says the exhaust diverters routed the tubes too close to the airbag sensor. The noise and pressure where strong enough to trick the sensors into thinking there had been a wreck. Talk about a loud exhaust.

aconteceu comigo, camaro 2011 2ss v8, acionou airbags laterais e tensionadores, GM não cobriu garantia, mesmo eu comprovando com um vídeo, de que o veículo estava à 50km e uma avenida reta, nenhuma manobra brusca!
This was actually on his 2013 ZL1.
Bump. You can see it clearly in the vid.
Bruh these guys should make there own fucking content
2013 zl1 with exhaust cutouts. Completely different from what you said. You think you’d make sure your facts were right before you made a video. CNN if YouTube right here
