  1. I had the same issue with the Air Idle Control valve in my boosted e36, and just fixed it last night. I used a few zip-ties to lock them into place and it worked perfect. You don't need to take the intake manifold off, just the throttle body and its holding 17PSI and won't even budge

  2. man I have blown a few boost hoses off over the years. Tbolt clamps work really well to hold boost hoses on just make sure to tighten the shit out of them. also the trick some people use is to spray a little hair spray on the inside of the hose before you install it that way when it drys it will act as a glue and hold the hose on tight.
