To a lot of people, a 1999 Toyota Celica isn’t much. But to this teenager, it was everything. Justin Rozier never knew his father who was killed in action in Iraq when Justin was a baby.
CBS reported that on his 15th birthday, he received the same 1999 Toyota Celica convertible his dad used to drive. His mother had sold the car to pay off medical bills but miraculously found the car through lots of searching, a little luck, and the power of social media. After turning to Facebook with the car’s VIN and photos she struck some luck. And after contacting the current owner he was more than happy to sell the car back to her. That’s a cool first car to have, faith in humanity restored.

Ridiculous, since he never knew his father. Any car would have done fine, and since he doesn't look particularly automotive repair inclined, probably one not so close to 20 years old would have been a better choice.
What are all these silly wasted feel good moments where nobody should feel good about what they're doing? I read of no particular hardship while there are people with real problems in this world who need the help that was wasted on this token gesture. All you're doing is deliberately ignoring those who need help and steering people willing to help, away from the needy. What a perverse way to make the world a worse place and keep people suffering when there is no reason for it.
My first Car was a black 92 Celica convertible 5spd i loved it so much. I was a proud ricer🔰
