If you’re a hardcore off-road enthusiast, Indian automaker Mahindra might have something of interest. It’s called the Roxor and is a new, diesel powered Jeep CJ, basically. The catch is, it’s not street legal. AutoBlog reports it’s classified as an off-road recreational vehicle only and the top speed is limited to 45 mph. It’s got a 2.5-liter turbocharged diesel 4-cylinder under the hood that make 62 horsepower and 144 lb.-ft. of torque.
It’s actually built in America before anyone calls it a rip off of the Wrangler, Mahindra was actually licensed to build Jeeps. It can be yours for $15,000, which is a lot cheaper than buying a Jeep or SUV if you don’t need it as your daily driver!

Be honest? 15k is a little steep, at least in my opinion.
Again PowerNation with old news.
You can drive those on the street in Utah! We license four wheelers and utvs for the street all the time.
somebody will put a plate on it and drive it in the street.. who would ever know its not a regular old jeep..
It has lights and blinkers then it can be street legal
Nope, don't think so. I spent less than 1/3 of that building my CJ5 with a SmallBlock V8.
