Your first guess is that the Hyundai logo is an “H” for the first letter of its name…and it probably is supposed to be that, also. But Jalopnik reports that Hyundai confirmed the emblem is actually two men shaking hands. Right on their website, it says “More than a symbol. It’s the way we do business”. So, the two men are arguably a representative of the company and a customer. Bet you can’t un-see that.
