Can you guys PLEASE respond as I am sitting with no truck to drive. Tks for any help.
RIP Joe. He was a huge part for my growing up loving engines and horsepower
We’re gonna miss you brother
I love❤️ my lemisphere 🍋🍋🍋
RIP JOE
Rip Joe this video inspired me to get a 5.7 hemi and now you’ve passed on may your legacy live on
Can you do a gen 3 5.7 hemi
RIP Joe
Rest in peace, Joe.
Rip Joe. We will miss you
RIP Joe
We will miss you 😢
That safety clean US cleaner is awesome!
Wow
Dang he just called out hemi purists by saying it’s not a real hemi he said they should get a real life that’s so funny 😂
I can't believe you have that hydrosonic cleaner and you didn't put the block in it
Seriously all that tech and you put a frigging carb on it
What about the poor lifter lubrication st idle in the 5.7s?
Who uses a power drill with that tiny bit?
What did all the add on parts cost for the total build?
They should do a high power output video on a 5.7. I’m trying to build a 1,000hp+ for mine.
my god prices for that engine have DOUBLED!!! they want 4000 for one with 100k on it in nj!! SHOOT that website dont even EXIST anymore!
had so much fun watching this, many thanks!
Did that cleaner tank destroy the valve guide seals?
“We are re-using the stock cam-shaft”…….😕🤮
What city is your shop located in
THANK YOU SO MUCH. A TOTALLY AWESOME BUILD. GREAT FOR ANY DAILY DRIVER.
Budget build? what budget you guys spend more on an engine than many spend on a car
Limp mode should be illegal.
Impressive delivery of information. You guys are great.
Nice build. Wonder how long it lasts lol im sure whatever project u put this in… will have a transmission that is capable of outliving a house fly
Love it but if im pulling the cam out,a bigger one is going back in…
Still had new bearings and crosshatch…
Get the cheap older 5.7; get a 6.1 crank; aftermarket rods and pistons that are stock sized. Better bearings. The eagle head; better springs; new push rods (your choice); modified oil pump. Everything else stock. Aftermarket camshaft to support your power level thus the your choice push rods and springs. Now what you do w this knowledge your choice; at the end you can have something decent. They have proven a 5.7 to 500 whp; just turner is what matters; now a days that’s where you most money after the build cost… I pray anyone messing w these motors have mechanical knowledge; if not get yourself a Honda and figure it out till you’re worthy to mess w double the cylinders; but yeah anything is easy if you research and understand it’s never cheap and it’s never easy. It can be somewhat cheap but you have to have elbow grease and some for of ability to to stuff.
That "get a real life " line deserved a like
I've been scouring google and YouTube and cannot find squat on a 287(4.7) build I had two Dakota's and a wj with that motor and it was stout and reliable. I'd love to see a build on that engine theirs plenty 5.2(318) 5.9(360) videos but none of the little boy. And I have been told by old timers for years that they preferred the 287 over the 318.
6:47 🤣🤣🤣
Rotflmao by the time your done with your budget build you could have got a new motor 😂😅
Omg you didnt put a hellcat oil pump on it?
The ez efi is like 2k and the ignition system is 700$
Plymouth had Hemis back in the late 50s early 60s… you need a history lesson… or just google.. max wedge 413
What motor oil do you use for the Hemi engines?
Ahh my Saturday mornings on TNN 😊
Header brand?
I have a 2011 ram 1500 5.7 hemi each engine and I have over 230,000 and I would like to rebuild the engine are get one rebuild any advice?
Cant believe y'all reused the lifters and valve springs. Should've updated those two major weak links
