I bought a brand new 1974 Camaro. Worst decision I ever made. That thing was an absolute DOG. It got 7 MPG on road or off, wouldnt handle …at all and it couldnt get out of it's own way…How disappointed was I!
Hot tip for CA builders. In California if you spend more than the car cost on restoration, DMV will want to register it with a SALVAGE title. You should never let them know what you have done.
We're going to stack all this money and work on top of a sleeved engine we got from a wrecking yard. Like there aren't enough of those motors lying around.
I could never buy a car with a sleeved motor. Lots of cores.
Where else did you beg off.
Would you recommend polyurethane bushing and mounting?
He installed the front springs upside down.
AWESOME show ! Love FROM România !!!
Drum breaks and 3:55 gears…🤣🤣these guys really don’t know how to make anything fast or worth the money

This is a perfect example of why I hated powernation. Start off by showing what I turned in for: adding a new suspension. NOT how cool the dodge charger was, NOR how to clean the underside. Fortunately, they actually completed (not as well as it could have our should have been) the suspension system. But oh my goodness, it could / should have been so much better without the 2 irrelevant segments in the middle!
Love this build.
Rotate rotor when you set the bearing
Price off this all
Polished turd on the Camaro. Put an Art Morrison complete subframe in it, pick your Wilwood brakes, Air Tech susp or whatever. Bring it into this century, its not a #'s car.
Today on MuscleCar: We order 75 grand in parts, and go to commercial for 14 minutes.
This video inspired me to do up my 80 camaro. 7 months later. Im on the road! Loving it . great video. And those front end springs were a pain in the butt.
outstanding!!!
The one guy is Boomhower from King of the Hill
Remember when restoring the under side of the floor that Norwood built Camaro's were done in red oxide primer and LA built Camaro's were satin black paint.
I always liked the second gen camaros. My old tunnel ram 540 was so stable at 175 mph it was unreal. Not sure if that was good for the tko 600 to wing it hard in overdrive but oh well it was fun.
I would have used a quick ratio steering box from a Trans Am.
hi michael from New Zealand
24 years to build his Charger R/T. Damn I was barely born when he bought it. Took me several months to build my 70' Firebird. Been sitting for 12 yrs. Mostly rebuilt the parts and r&r worn parts. Man I love driving her. Annoying thing about driving her. People always tell me "Is it for sale"! Never I reply 🤘
What company did the motor mounts come from & what's th part # ?
When do we get to see the Marquis finished??
That 402 truck motor is junk. Get a real L78 block and heads.
Did y'all notice the crude falling out when they used compressed air tools LOL. I thought they cleaned it all out, I guess not. Plus they drilled a hole in the frame for the rear sway bar and did not paint it, rust, rust, rust.
what a f…k guys? Why dont you use extractors?
Great vid…..why didn’t you guys paint the steering component……either black or red?
Would look hot
Please don't put a rear spoiler on the car. I know most people think it's essential but it really ruins the lines of the car as it was designed.
They have a Dyno cell but they don't have that kind of spring compressor
Man o man if I can pick up a 68,69 or 70 charger for $4k id sell my car right now!😂
They don't fix anything. They just replace the parts with crazy expensive parts from sponsors
Got to love the experts in the comments
How is this a budget build in any way?
Tell me you did not tighten the bushings before the weight of the vehicle was on them.
What a clean beautiful 70 Charger.
wow i love those old cars tho
i really enjoy power nation i can't get it on dish network any longer. who is the announcer with the sore throat? he sounds terrible! they need to get a new announcer.
I don't know it seems like a very long commercials auto parts and services.
5:25 looks like he put the seal in the wrong way round???
