When you add NOS you must retard the timing , how far did you go on each step ?
i was taught by a top fuel racer…..use 60 grit on the decks….
because you introduced your nitrous late in the rpm…..it survived…so max it out on nitrous…at high rpm….then work your way down to your lowest rpm….

Hector is going to be running 3 Honda Civics with spoon engines. And on top of that, he just went into Harry's, and he ordered 3 T66 turbos, with NOS. And a Motec system exhaust
the cam and huge ports woud be enough to pull close to 700 hp without Nitrous, swap to AFR 227 Competiton flow heads 340 cfm plus

Had the heads been CNC Opened to 225 cc they would make a ton more power
Did this dude just say his coolant isn't too expensive it's just under $50 a gallon… Does he not realize 5 gallons of concrete is $50. So just by doing simple math you can figure his coolant is 10 times as expensive gallon per gallon.
They needed to ask the Evan's rep. about lubrication of water pumps. My Dodge, and Chevrolet were very specific about what antifreeze the vehicle required. Also my "budget" and their "budget" are very different.

I see where you broke a piston on this engine a few episodes later.
In a later episode they felt that they had hurt the motor on these passes when they went to go do another project with the engine and it nuked a piston. -U10
