Our Lo ‘n Slo, C10 project breaks tradition by ditching its rotted wood bed floor for an easy install aluminum kit that mimics the real thing. Plus, the guys in Engine Power explode our 292 straight-six for a full rebuild.

  1. doe….FC for this truck really good….if I refill gas for rm30 ringgit I can used for week….yeah for single cam 6 cylinder engine and ofcuz it really fast….for V8 engine big it only cost around rm60 per week…. affordable gas price but unaffordable rustic truck in here…in Malaysia this truck quite expensive.

  2. 8:54 no dent… "this is a very fragile piece of history here…." 8:58 two dents…*blatantly tosses it into scrap pile* "Almost hate it…Oh sorry about that…" 11:40 walk of shame…. I'm in tears, don't bring your dogs to work around that guy! What a plug, Love the show!

  3. I love a good engine build, be it a V8, V6 or inline 6. But that 292 sure isn’t it. There’s not many Chevy inline 6’s left on the road for a reason, as they are known for throwing the 1’s or 2nd connecting rods through the blocks after dropping the cam shafts. I’ve lost two Chevy in-line 6’s to that. One of those being a 292, the other a 250.

  4. Give Austin a raise and demote LT to lube tech he didn’t put locktite blue or torque those flywheel bolts and he had the audacity to get all but hurt when they backed out there home. Austin is a way better host who knows how to handle his emotions and doesn’t act like a sissy ass little girl who got told she can’t go build a bear……..lt ur a yeast infected loose bussy “p”

  5. I like derelict builds but the newly painted roof, wheel wells and new wood-like aluminium floor is really out of place. Mechanically I love it especially the turbo I6. Why didn't you show how you installed that 10 inch baffle thru the 3-inch hole you drilled.?

  6. But you didn't paint the truck all the way. Rust just looks baaa patina looks like it belongs in a junk yard how can you paint the top of the truck put in a good looking bed floor and not make the body look as good as the rest of the truck.

  7. Can ya show witch way pistons go n on a ls motor or an atv I got a piston on an ATV that's suppose to have an arrow towards the exhaust but not this piston it's holding me up on putting my trx450r atv together I need to no how to tell witch way they go n and how to tell if u got them n backwards

  8. Please, I beg you, please, it's my biggest biggest dream. I really want to learn how to handle it. American mechanics, just like you learned from somebody someday, it is not possible to do a great charity, a good deed and teach me how to work with heavy mechanics too. I don't charge anything until I work for free for you. I do everything a little bit, just a lot of hardworking and very polite obidiencite I do everything you guys tell me to do on the spot, I do it on the run, it still won't be able to teach me how to work with heavy mechanics. Disel, please, I'm just a big fan of all of you. I love it when I was a kid and here in my country I never had the opportunity and the truth is also not like American mechanics, I tried to be a mechanic when I was only 10, from 10 to 12 years old, I worked in the heavy mechanics of an acquaintance of mine dad, just like i said i quit because it has nothing to do with mechanics i really want to learn for my life q is nothing more than american mechanics, right, please, i really help me to share his knowledge with me I, I beg you in the same way that someone TEACHED you everything you know today and you take it further, teach me also to be able to take it further, because my biggest dream is to be able to assemble a pickup truck in the American mechanical style, right ❤

Great job, I'm from Brazil and here we are passionate about the Chevrolet Six In Line 250, where can I get an exhaust manifold like the one in the project? Can you pass the list of parts used in the engine? Thanks

  10. Love the aluminum bed! Love the look of the fresh paint and the old patina! Loving this C10 build! But, there’s a few things that are ruining the show:
#1 The hand held camera shots have got to go. It’s one thing for the camera to bounce around when you’re outside in the dirt; but you’re on a smooth concrete floor, and the camera is jiggling around like the operators if a five year old doing a pee-pee dance. Knock it off!
#2 The short fella (Austin?) needs to tone down the hillbilly drawl! Every time he talks, I half expect him to pull out the family banjo and start plucking and crooning a love song to his sister aunt cousin! His swamp thing accent drags the whole show down about 50 IQ points; and Bo and Luke Duke here ain’t the brightest bulbs to begin with!
#3 Stay in your lane. Stop trying to be freedom factory roadkill hoonigans. If I want to see zip tie hilarity, hosts with personality, and general shenanigans, I will watch the Hoonigan boys or Freiburger and Finnegan.
I turn to power nation for technical information and problem solving the right way. I love geeking out with power nation. I love the high tech high dollar stuff just as much as the keep it simple low tech builds.
