A guy bought this old 1964 or 1965 C10 truck years ago. It’s been sitting in various forms of storage since, but it’s time to revive it! Will this old chevy bark back to life and run once again?

Have you ever tried loctites "Stripped Thread Repair Kit"? In a pinch I've used it with small threads and not under a lot of pressure.
So my bleep bloop is just my opinion, I think a 350 would be great for that truck. 😁 what I could see underneath frame wise this truck can definately have a future.
I would put the 350 in it with a 5 speed
Great episode. My late Uncle, more of a brother, had a 65 GMC for his first vehicle. He taught me to drive a manual transmission in it. I'd like to see a quick dirty rebuild on the 327.
I wish to buy this truck
I think that wire was a Lone Wolf 1000!
didn't 65 and 66 come with a carrier bearing ,requiring 2 separate drive shafts because of the offset rear end???

I Just What you know, Watched you from the Start, Thanks!!!…
I had two 327 two barrels on 2 bolts on carb and manifold. Blew my mind then
Cool. everything needs rebuilt, not worth the time, money and frustration in some dude's field. Strip it, clean it new harness, brakes like you said. I'd do a cheap crate engine and trans. The differential is probably shot too.
i am strange…would rather have the stewed then the convert
btw am a old retired ex farm kid…have done most of the things you do
I didn't like that music.
Derek i want this truck
400 with blower ❤
Let’s get started on that Fix It Again Tony Spyder!
I want to buy this truck
Because you asked…
Fab up some tunnels to match the two vents in the front of the hood. Use the 400 with that blower, and it will get its air through those vents. You have the clearance in that bay to even make the tunnels move with that hood so they don't cover anything up when you want to service the engine.
That old Chevy actually "looked" happier as you closed out. Lovin the attention!
Definitely the 400 from the Monte Carlo. That would be one of the funnest little old truck that you could have endless fun with.
400 SB 350 crank 373 posi track.
Build a dog box an get the B&M shifter up to the steering wheel even with your right hand ???3 o'clock or so….man I miss my 66GMC 😮😢
Try it you ll enjoy😊
That reminds me. I need a tetanus booster. 😂😂
Stock 350 crate engine and a 350 transmission from a popular source that anybody can walk into and purchase. Just my 2 cents. Love the resurrection videos, whether you're home or away. Appreciate your work ethic. Thanks
Love this one! Finally doing one of my favorite trucks, thanks fella
Thats was wrong with my unit, So ckool you would pick it up, neat and Thanks!!!… Thumbs Up….
I have the same fabric original to a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 truck. On the drivers seat. Great video Derek. As always. Thanks
Slap that engine with the blower on it, clean it up and make it a give away!
I'd vote for rebuilding the 327
If you watch just rolled in thats only a little spray foam.
Man, I missed this the last couple of weeks! Throw that 400 in it.
