  1. A better way to attach that bracing to the underframe (Super Labor Intensive) is to do it Aircraft-Style, that is, precisely drilled .250" holes and Military-Grade Blind fasteners (MS90354S08-xx).
Smeared with plenty of AC-730 Sealant.

  2. Look, when a car has as much rust damage as that POS… You throw it away! And there was absolutely no reason to reinforce the rear part of the frame as much as these clowns did… You act like your putting in a Pro Mod engine, Geeeez…

  3. Goddam !! That's a lot of work. The cars a Swiss cheese of rust, but, it'll come good. Some commenters think they are building the Pyramids, but it just a car, made of metal, it'll rust again in another 60 years.

  4. Power coating Sucks! I had rims done for a Vega a few years back. I sand blasted them clean. Sent them to my local powercoater. Mounted tires on them
and used the car. It was not long before I got stone chips and started rusting under the powercoat. They bubbled rust under the powercoat. Best to use a good wet primer and top coat. I personally will never do it again. Powercoat is baked at 400 F but can chip fast too.
