  1. I watched a show where the person that bought Lead Sled, wanted to take to the Power Tour so, He took it to a shop the get it ready to do the tour. The guys at the shop had nothing good to say about the work on Lead Sled, they said the headlights were held in with zip ties!!!!!

  2. Somebody bought that car and it was not finished, no glass headlights wired in to hold them and a lot of other things, but he still loved it and it is badass. It just was a tv car,I would have loved to have it.

  3. Hey guys! You make it look so easy! I guess when you have a shop with all the equipment it helps. I have a 63 Impala SS Convertible which is an original 409/ Duel Quad/ 4 Speed and posi. rear. I used to race at the old NEW YORK NATIONAL-SPEEDWAY, back in the late 1970's. Broke a lot of things, but had fun doing it! She has been sitting for quite some time (25yrs.) while under a tarp. There is no motor in it, just don't have the money to put her back together. It would be nice if you guys wanted to do a show rebuilding my car.I have a lot of the original parts.

  4. This video was posted in 2020. This morning I found a video from 2011 from a shop that took this car in to "fix" it to make it road worthy, and another video where it was displayed at the 2013 SEMA show. I know they did some excellent body work on this thing, but there is a disconnect from a car built for a show and reality. Ty-rapping the headlights in? Having to fix the rear suspension? This show has lost some of it's luster for me.

  5. Love the rebuild of the 61 Impala. I fail to understand the excitement of smoking a pair of tires at $300 a pop in a 45 second burnout. It seems like something a 14 year old mind would like.

  6. So what happens if you slam it down while the wheels are turned?
Also, I’m a gear head and love speed and muscle cars. But the burnout competition and general burnouts in general are si damned lame. I can lock up the front wheels on my golf cart and eventually make smoke. What’s the draw?

  7. You have to break in the header gaskets run the engine then let it cool completely then check and tighten the header bolts. The gasket compresses even more after heated
