16. Hey Alex I was wondering if you could maybe give me some information on a car that I'm looking at possibly purchasing it's a 2006 Mercedes SL500 has AMG wheels on it and has a 50 V8 supercharged and it's an all-wheel drive car

17. I traded up from E430 to C55 for all the reasons in this video and more. Braking is traditional master cylinder and brake booster with no SBC. SBC was in W211 and above at the time and is a real problem. Also, door locks are electric rather than pneumatic so no PSE and vacuum lines to contend with. Downsides are the interior does not feel like a Mercedes. Plastic and switch gear are cheap compared to W210. However, my example's interior is rattle and squeak free. I also do not like shift buttons. I inadvertently hit them and get an unintended gear shift. This happens too often. Otherwise, car is near perfect and does what I want and more. Mine has just 67,000 miles. I look forward to many years and many miles of enjoyment.

AUGHHHHHHHH I WANT ONE SO BAD i have a c240 had the same body pretty much i’m pretty sure the hood is a little bit shorter because of course the amg engine is bigger and more powerful so the wheel base is a little longer but other than that looks the same . i’m pretty sure it’s the v6 2.6 dohc na it’s pretty and very smooth and it is my first car but man i’d trade it and cash for one of these anyday

29. What do you think about the 2000-2002 CLK55 AMG Coupes?? From a mechanical perspective it's one of the most simple AMG Cars Mercedes ever made besides the C43 AMG. I know the motor itself is bulletproof. I think the Mercedes V8 engines are some of the best and most realible ever made outside of the Toyota/Lexus V8's.

39. Great video. I picked up a low mile C55 for $7500 bucks a few years ago. I got a Renntech tune, intake, and exhaust and it's awesome. Super comfortable, quick, and looks great. I think its no doubt the best ride you can pick up for under $10.

40. Would it be safe to also opine that a W210/S210 M113 E55 AMG unit that doesn't have rust issues can be similarly categorised as the C55 AMG? Great video, as always 👍

47. Is it the same as the clk55? I'm thinking of buying one. Also I'm an Audi guy. I have a 2001 A6 4.2 v8 with a 6 speed swap. The 4.2 is belt driven and it has been dead nuts reliable. You also get the rs6 widebody without the reliability of an rs6
