I bought this Chevrolet Chevelle site unseen and attempt to drive it 600+ miles home after being off the road for 30 years. After selling my 1970 and 1971 Chevelle’s the past few months, well I just needed another one. They’re not as popular right now as the Challenger, Charger, Mustang, or apparently even the Opel GT. But, I really like the history of the car. The body lines, style, and room. So, I bought this abandoned 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu with no title, site unseen that was just left to rot. The car is trashed, worse than stated in the ad, and certainly not roadworthy when I show up. From what I can tell it hasn’t been on the road for 30 years. But, that doesn’t stop me from attempting a 600-mile drive back home. Think it will start? Or better yet, think it will actually run good enough to drive itself from the grave? Watch and find out! On the oil question, for everyday use, whatever is cheapest but meet the specifications.
For kit car used on the track, a tri-ester competition fully synthetic 20 or 30 w 50 depending on conditions.

I hope I'm wrong but u look very white European to me rather than American Indian , I e true American , I'm self taught mechanic and much like urself, fix what it needs and repair stuff, what im saying is 250yrs ago is a long time, maybe if us british didnt go there then what would be happening now, theres many contries that have gone all over the world and then left and they are great places now, maybe we should celebrate that rather than make it about hate
My dad was a master with the spray foam but I think the work in this vehicle tops anything he ever did 😂

If I had a 71 or 72 Chevelle I would put a 70 front end and a 70 rear bumper. When I had a 70 when I was younger, I could out run any 71-72! Besides it just looks better.
If you get a new carburetor, trust the engineers at the company to tune it. If it's off, make adjustments.
I use Quaker state ever since college. Long story but my teacher was an oil engineer. Proved it to me
