  1. Our family owns a suspension shop. I grew up working there. We had a ubolt bender and could make any side we wanted, so I never tried to take the nuts off of an old ubolt. We just always used the cutting torch. Watch out for the brake lines! Accidentally cutting one only happened frequently. Made the job take way longer for the same pay 🤦‍♂️ 😊

  2. Isn't '74 the first year of the square body? I've always loved this truck, so I decided to start at the beginning of its resurrection and watch you do your thing.

  3. Idk if I'd cut through my frame like that…..I know how I drive n what I haul…I'd need alot more attachment plate…but this is only myself I do like the kit pretty straight forward simple… Now as always Derick you funny mo fo gezum crow 😂 I love that humorous personality you have it's like my sarcasm natural 😂

  4. Why are you doing that work on the rear rand you weld the actual tube and maybe even put a little gusset coming off of the pumpkin dad some string to it are used to do that on my 10 Bolts like a 10 Bolt from the grand national the car bro pause the 28th line plenty strong enough weird well the actual tube and Gus today I actually had a grand national rear end I ran that rear end with 28 line axles for about 10 years the corner and 50 hp small block with a 200 shot of nitrous on the front tires and El Camino which southside for about a decade and I never broke that rear end I had a spool in it but I never broke the axle or twisted a tube

  5. I love how you've got a 409 W-motor tucked inconspicuously behind the C20, lol! That right there ups the "Coolness Factor" of this show about 897K % for a guy! Congrats & I wish y'all MANY MORE yrs of Success on here, Derek!

  6. After watching 375’912.5400716 metric percent (yeah, a guy use the metric ones cause it’s to complicated to calculate 842 6517/1689452’s imperial percentage) of your videos, a guy had to take a clod snack and bleep-bloop down on the ol’ googley machine there to figure out who in the Massachusetts Tonya Harding is…And I’ll be dipped! It’s a hammer!
Thank God I’m not the only insane guy in the wold! Keep up the good work there feller! 👍

  7. Derek you need to finish this truck man I’ve been watching you for over a year and not going fast enough getting a little sidetracked on this project we want to see it done super cool truck

  8. Quick question, did you use that wheel barrel bottom for a floor pan? If so that was ingenious . Looks like the perfect C/K floor pan replacement 😁
